The best move from India is to make Baluchistan's Independence possible. If Pakistan loses Baluchistan, Pakistan loses Gwadar Port, and indirectly, the CCP loses the primary motivation for creating CPEC. CPEC will become more of a liability than an asset due to its various problems and limited potential benefits. This will force the CCP to move its extra resources from Gilgit-Baltistan and Xinjiang to the South China Sea. This, in turn, will merit lesser reason for PLA to be active in northern theatre. This indirectly reduces Chinese aggression without escalating the tensions. This might be an average scenario. Best case: The independence of Baluchistan caused the rest of the states to separate from Pakistan, making it impossible for the Pakistani army and CCP to focus on India. Worst case: China is determined to act against India, and nothing will change the orders from the 'top.'

I guess it's quite possible but they need to have strong and organised Army and Govt from the Start so that they can handle agression from other countries and diplomatic affairs.... And a good and clever govt, for the good for their own people and ours also. so that they don't come to the influence of other countries..

@@NishanBag If they manage to repel the Pak army, I think they have a sufficiently strong force (look at the Taliban). Even if they are not intelligent, they will still move in the direction of India's interest as they have two gigantic enemies in their neighbours, Iran and Pakistan. Best thing is, they are far less extremist than any other rogue element in Pakistan, they are our best bet at safely weakening china and pakistan.
