Interesting. I used to be in New Delhi when this guy started on his cycle outside Vikram hotel near the Moolchand hospital that why he stuck to the brand equity of Moolchand parathas. His clients were bachelors & drunkards. The prosperity of his clients improved because he used to be open late nights. He has come a long way because his parathas were always fresh & hot snow they were hot sellers. Thanks guys for bringing memories back with just a name. Nathan Sekhar Sydney Australia.

Delhi is not India by any stretch of imagination. You guys need to move around a bit before declaring something like "best paratha in India"! A lot of Indians would probably disagree, though Moolchand may make good parathas. The Parotta of south India is significantly different as it the paratha of other parts of India.
@astudent92065 жыл бұрын
Why don't you all come to the northeast states like West Bengal and the Seven Sisters? It's no way less than the Delhi experience...including the cons tho! But here you'll find much less tourism scammers, on a petty scale too...But you also must arrange for yourselves all the way in and out!

Great that you speak the local language . Many channels for example Thailand can not speak a word of Thai. Their advice is often wrong and sometimes dangerous. My advice unless the host speaks the local language give them a pass. PS. Take the Lonely Planet and toss it in the trash.
@SourceFlow5 жыл бұрын
I try my best to speak the local language when I travel. I've picked up a bit of Hindi so far 😁
@jamesspignesi15 жыл бұрын
@@SourceFlow At least you are making an effort. Expats who have lived in Thailand for decades still can,t even count to ten in Thai. Yet they are constantly miserable. I wonder why ?
@SourceFlow5 жыл бұрын
I don't get it either! If you're living somewhere longterm, it's a great opportunity to learn a new language, and make connections with people.
@jamesspignesi15 жыл бұрын
@@SourceFlow The reality is the majority of expats in Thailand get involved with hookers in the foreign area slums in the bars. That take them to the cleaners because the expats are to lazy to learn the language and have the bar girl do all their translating for them in the meanwhile cleaning out their bank accounts. They live in a bubble totally separate from the Thais. Unwilling to to learn the customs, eat the food and spend the majority of their time either at home or with other foreigners. Most are alcoholics and are miserable. Learning Thai is not that difficult and as i tell all travelers make a small effort to at least learn the basics of a language when they travel. The locals scammers will tend to avoid you. Great channel and it shows you care by making a effort to learn at least the basics of the language.
