Went from HD to BMW a few years ago because of cost here in the U.K., but keep looking at Indian, REALLY like the look & colour of this bike.... Those roads are VERY similar to the uk outside of a city & off the 'A' & 'M's 😂😂 I found speakers work well on my glide(s) i had previously with an open faced helmet, but a full face I llike just using my helmet comms for music. Mic seems to work well too, cool content chap. 👍👌✌🤘🖖🤙🍻

Smart move on avoiding modding the engine. Indians don’t like that very much. Best be happy with the performance from factory and enjoy the journey

Road trips you can go literally anywhere. You may look up riders roost in North Carolina bikers resort. They have cabins or you can bring your tent your choice. Or check out love valley in North Carolina. Im from the Carolinas but moved to Louisiana but I'll still travel back to the roost to relax and have fun plus the blue Ridge Parkway is close. Just a thought

Let me enlighten you: 11,000 miles. Failed GPS, failed TPMS, 2 no starts, 7 phantom engine lights. The cost of service is outrageous. Very limited after market products. I traded mine, I stayed with Indian. Hopefully the I have better luck with the Chieftain.

I have the same bike. Got 15,000 miles on it all from long trips. I have ridden from Seattle to Sturgis, down to the CA Redwood trees, and to Arizona Bike week. The tech on the bike is the biggest weak point. The GPS is terrible for multi stop trips on long days. It will lose where you are going, tell you the address is not valid when you are in the middle of no where, very frustrating. One thing that the Indian does not like is blipping that throttle. You do it a lot, the oil pump is a scavenger system and it doesn’t like throwing all the oil to the top when you blip like that.

Did you have to custom order this bike in the Sagebrush smoke color??? My local dealership told me they don’t make the challenger in this color and I’d have to go with a chieftain if that’s the color I wanted. Yet here I am watching a review on one in plain sight

2023 is was a color, not in 2024.

Dude. I just happened upon your video, and as soon as i saw the streets and the houses, I'm like this dude must be in NJ. Probably either north jersey or southern jersey. Then i saw the plates on cars i was like yup! I knew it! Lol don't live there anymore, but i grew up in nj. The Indian challenger is comparable to the road glide. But i think the Indian is a better more comfortable ride imo. Even the stock Indian seats are better than Harley stock seats. Which you can easily find out doing a road trip on them. I did my first 100 mile one way on my 18 street glide when the bike was brand new, felt like i was sitting on a board. Ordered a $500 mustang seat the next day. I was dreading the ride back that day. Lol Rode my buddys stock chieftan, and test road a challenger, and springfield. Big difference. Was like riding a couch on all 3 Indians. Less vibration in the handle bars as well. Way better for those long road trips. Plus i like the windshield that goes up and down with the push of a button. Oh and the way you can lock those saddle bags. Awesome bikes.
