I'm a big fan of the Challenger. I sold my Street Glide and bought one. The custom touches on this one look killer. The performance of the Challenger blows HD out of the water. Like he said, the stock suspension is very good out of the box on this bike. I'm happy to see you showing Indian some love, so many guys wont give it the time of day, even though it is the superior bike.

I wish I had the money to do something like this. I thought the challenger was a cool looking bike. Plus the stock power made it an even cooler bike. But I knew it could benefit from some things and your dude hit everyone of those upgrades on the head!! That thing is so clean and so bad ass!!

That Indian is damn RAD! The Challenger engine is like the V-Rod's Revolution engine being liquid cool with DOHC. Fortnine has a good video out "How Indian Makes 43% More Power than Harley-Davidson" about the differences between this design and the air cooled push rod engine we all love. Indian has different types of engines in their model lineup. Harley needs to get on board and put one of these Revolution engines in like a Sport Glide softail frame with a FXRT type fairing. Will they if not already on the design board? My bet is it depends on how these Indians fair at the King of the Baggers races of how motivated HD Corp is doing it. As for me, I love my SGS with a 128 Big Bore kit with DynoJet PowerVision tuner, Fullsac MX exhaust and V&H slipons. Just enough power for me and everyday riding, plus there is nothing like that V-Twin Harley Air Cooled engine. Also, I am looking to get an African Twin or Pan American to add to the collection for different type of riding. I wonder what Kyle could do to a Pan American?

Dumb question but does t-bars actually make a difference for handling? I know raising the bike does.
@schamberlin51503 жыл бұрын
I like the feel of the narrower t bars. If it physically changes performance that’s debatable. But it makes it more aggressive and comfortable to me

@@schamberlin5150 thanks for the reply. Dirt bikes is the closest thing I've came to t-bars witch you can't flick around pretty easily so I guess that concept would apply to motorcycles as well.

The lesson here is if you take a mediocre product (Polaris) get a talented professional... spend many $1000s repainting and customizing... you end up with an ok product that still has poor resale value because nobody wants it and that’s all that makes something valuable... I ride 20,000 miles a year and I see1-2 challengers a year on the road
@PoppaWheelies3 жыл бұрын
Steve , you are missing the whole point . The harleys in the shop are custom from top to bottom . He said $10,000 in extras for engine alone . Plus the custom paint . Custom suspension . Custom everything . The challenger has custom bars, paint and exhaust .
@GraemeBlore3 жыл бұрын
@@stevexaxa3619, as do I. The reality is that COVD has impacted adversely on the whole market, particularly when you are launching a new model. BTW, the 'mediocre product' running an original 108 motor up against HD's with 124 & 131 motors still beat them, even after running off the track. 1st & 3rd. The resale value aspect is simply because there's not been enough riding time out there for people to realize how damn good these bikes are. Get out and try one out brother! I was converted, after 45 years of mostly HD's!
