@peaceneeded Population was a problem few decades ago. Not now. India's fertility rate is 2 per woman. That means two kids on two people and it's declining like anything. It was 6 in 60s, 4 in 90s, 2 in 2020s, and expected to go below 1.5 in next couple of decades. Now second thing, Due to the medical advancements, average age is rising. In US and UK and most developed countries it's in 75+. In India it's 67. So in 20-30 years, it will rise to 75+ or even more. Now combine these two facts, the new born population will start declining for India in 3-4 years because the fertility rate will be less than 2 and people will be living longer due to high life expectancy due to medical advancements. Now, that means after a point, there will be a rise in average age. Average age in India is in 20s, that means more work force. People after 50 generally don't do much productive work and generally retire after 60. Japan is facing this problem, their workforce is declining severely. Same with a lot of European countries. So currently it's golden time for India because we have a young workforce. Our govt and we should work on skill development so that we can use this workforce in building our economy stronger. Once population starts to decline which will be in 2040s for India, then average age will rise and we'll have lesser people as a young productive workforce. So it will be a burden on the the country to manage the economy productively. We should utilize this time and make better policies for education, healthcare and skill building thus better employment so that we can effectively use our young population. It's an advantage for India not a disadvantage. Yes, I agree this was a problem in 90s but not now. UN recommends 2.1 as a stable population fertility rate (because it considers infant mortality also) at which the population will be stable. India is below that so in coming decades we might be facing challenging times if we don't make use of it now.

Government should put restrictions on mining and realestate developments. Every city has lost 95% of its green cover. There is concrete everywhere, roads which absorb the heat. There should be focus on increasing the green cover. In nature, everything is interlinked: one affects another. If heat increases then we may run dry and soon we may be able to live in AC rooms but wont have enough vegetation to eat. Government should also understand that roads, energy and beautiful trains are not development. A wealthy country should be clean, self sufficient, sustainable, green with forestation. Our people will never understand this and we are soon to be doomed.

So if in an area there are numerous AC units then the temperature will be much higher outside than the natural heat in the area. In cities where then is better airflow like Bengaluru AC should be only allowed in offices and not for home use

In a country where there is massive deforestation is taking place to make roads and infrastructure, this thought naturally came in my mind. And now I'm watching this video and it gives me a pleasure. Being a developing nation here people are busy with infrastructure development, wealth creation etc.. not so many people are really concerned about this serious issue. Bro this video is spreading misinformation. Planting mango trees only will just result in a monoculture that's just like any other wheat or rice field. It will acquire groundwater and deplete acquifers, or would require river water for sustainance. It will be far worse than not planting any tree ! Better go for planting a diverse array of trees and building an ecosytem. For example: In your 1000 tree list you can plant 100 mango, 100 gulmohar, 100 banyan, 100 peepal, 100 tamarind, 100 neem, 100 sal, 100 teak, 100 mahogany, 100 sandalwood and likewise

Guwahati was one of the best cities of northeast in terms of climate but its already 35 degrees in april and peak summer 🌞 is yet to arrive. Just around 7 years back,the city was greener and lot more cooler but rampant construction and use of ACs has increased the temperature beyond usual limits.
