There are various forms of "final loads", balls with different colour, balls bigger in colour, indifferent things like patato, limon, baseballs, chicks and mice. Since this trick is consider the base trick and a form of prayer, it ends up producing "vibhuti". In this case it seems that it is charcoal dust. I have done this with rice and even confetti.

Holy Shit. I know cups and balls and can perform it quite well, and i can normally spot the sleights, but this had me stunned from the first moment. Being a magician causes me to lose the excitement by watching magic sometimes, but this is simply brilliant and makes me feel as if im a small boy.

This is rare jewel in youtube magic videos. I have seen some of the best charmers in youtube. Roth, Slydini and such others. Those who have a eye of magic, cannot deny this one as something classic. This is actually the real Indian Cups and Balls. I have seen it in my childhood days in the Kolkata street performed by lady street magicians. That too astonished me as well. But this is more elaborate than what I saw then. I think this is the real and the best video in Cups and Balls series.

@sloofuss If you think he is simply doing false transfers and palming I am sorry you have been very successfully miss directed by him. I take your point that he is not the best example of economy of movement but this is a new concept developed my Vernon. Earlier magicians were loud. His performance is in the old style. He is just jingling the bell earlier they also did flute playing and other things. Basically it was to entertain and at times magic took a back seat.

not exactly the "vernon wand spin" (which is really the silent mora wand spin), but very similar to common drum stick flourishes. i agree that it is a rare and interesting routine to watch.

I don't know whether that old lady performer today is alive or not. That Lady performer ('Bedeni') had a lady assistant with her. They performed in Dum Dum Cantonment area Kolkata - 700 028, India near the Lichubagan Football Ground neighbouring areas more than two decades ago. That was really astonishing magic, which is rare to be found today anywhere. I have not seen such feats after them anywhere else. Probably they have been financially established,so left wandering, and settled down.

@abeedakbar It is an toy. It represents a chicken. Traditionally in India and other places like Egypt etc. magicians ended the cups and balls routine by producing three chickens from under the cups. I guess he did not want to use a live chicken. Actually in this performance he has kind of captured the various moves and techniques he knows. In fact there are more than XV phases in all that he has done. So it is rather long but for me this video is an excellent source of learning.

Mr. Shafath, please post more video on Indian street magicians Several Coin Vanish magic. I have seen it in Kolkata street that five 10 paisa coins were converted into one single piece of 50 paisa coin in the palm of the magician in bare hands. I want to see it once again from you.

That Indian Cups & Balls, Coin vanish-transform-apear-multiply, Bird to Ball---all these magics were performed by this single lady. If you can find her, it will be a boon for the coming generation of magicians.

And one more trick which I saw from two such people in Kolkata----a small white ball (2 cm in diameter) was transformed into a small bird head in the semi-closed palm of the magician. The magician used to insert one of her finger from behind the bird-skin and shaked it). Then again it was transformed into the small ball. I have searched google & youtube, but nowhere the trick is available by anyone. If you have collection of this, please post the video.

@sloofuss @sloofuss It is clear that you have little idea of magic and you are a learner. What he is doing are Hindu Cups and Balls. So there is nothing strange about them. They are the oldest trick in magic. Though the books say that Cups and Ball were first seen in an Egyptian painting. Modern experts think it is not true. This is the opinion of Mr. Bill Palmer who is an expert in Cups and Balls and also has a museum.

I have no problem with the costume or cups ,or style;only that it is too fast and seems like he is trying to trick us,instead of doing clean magic to amaze,entertain,& fool. Thee is too much movement and sound going on.He is trying to hide with fast movements and sound,his trickery moves.It is boring,& confusing!
