I remember Charlie Miller had a thing on building these cups ( from stuff you can no longer find) and a full routine in Genii magazine years ago . Re-printed in a Book “Magicana” I can’t recommend it enough.

Thank you for the mention, David! I will unlikely perform with this set (different technique and style), as I prefer the 'western' style cups, but this is a nice quality set that will be in my collection.

Wonderful review and thanks. Cups and balls was one of my first tricks. I still do the chop cup in my routine and love it. The Indian cups and balls , just the quality, is something i will definately get in the future. To have just one good routine is all you wznt. Cheers David

Learning the sleights before seeing the routine is not my favourite way to learn. Your analogy to music lessons is perfect. You know why your kid’s school band sucks ? They learned the notes before they listened to the song.
@Dr.Tinkerpaw Жыл бұрын
Well if you do as David suggest before you even buy the set, go on KZbin and watch the video of their routine. There you saw it and then after you get the set you can also fast forward on the tutorial and watch the whole routine before they teach it. You have all the control. I have been performing cups and balls for about 12 years or possibly more. I definitely know I saw the cups and balls before I was intrigued to try learning it. Definitely before purchasing my first set of cups and balls I had already learned basic vanishes like the French drop Etc. I don't know what your beef is, if you don't want to buy it don't buy it.
