AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT is gearing up. Local production although little bit of increased cost serves innovation new designs and lot of learning which can be utilized in other aircrafts ships corvettes destroyers and other small or big weapons. Buying directly from the buyer should be small in numbers and in extreme emergencies. Otherwise our DRDO HAL ADA ISRO BHEL BEL and other public and private sectors are able to do even the impossible tasks. Collaborations do help in local industry and then later exporting. Look at the exports of india gearing ground day by day. Although try to localise product but if not then collaborate even at a meager higher cost and if in extreme emergencies buy it directly if it is a long pending or it has to be purchased desperately. Time plays a vital part. Decide if anyone will give transfer of technology. If yes then please go ahead. If not and the decided time has lapsed then ofcourse direct from government to government. But preferences should be given to transfer of technologies helping our scientists engineers and a whole system and finally making products indigenously bringing in the revenue.
