The sweet orange spiral thing are called "jalebis". Jalebi is a spiral shaped traditional Indian sweet made with flour basically mixed with little chickpea flour and yogurt (even though adding yogurt is not absolutely essential). The batter is fermented and then deep fried and dipped in sugar syrup.

The first dish was an onion pakoda, the second one was an aloo bonda (I lived in the bangalore-chennai region for sometime so pardon if it's biased towards south India), the third one is a spicy papadom. The first two dishes are the fish and chips of the southern part of India, the bonda is soggy because it has cooled down, else it's crispy. Best to be eaten hot on a depressingly gray day. The sauce is made out of tamarind extract and mango extract and yes it is amazing . Am poor with the sweets names because I'd usually get an ensemble box. I would love for you to review American food in America though.
@BlueVanMan5 жыл бұрын

@@BlueVanMan I thought it was an onion bhaji at first, but on looking I think it depends what region of India you're from: onion pakoda, onion pakora, eerulli bajji, kanda bhaji, onion bhaji: it's basically the same dish with slight variations. Only pretending I know though! :p

Shop name is pronounced like " foolnath ". Thats not chilli sauce, its sweet & sour tamarind & date sauce. Potato ball thing is spicy Potato mash in chick pea flour batter, deep fried. That alieny looking thing is deep fried onion bhaji. The long yellow crispy thing is called in local language " pata gathiya" made from spiced up gram / chickpea flour deep fried in oil.

This is Gujarati food you are eating, and the name of the shop is pronounced 'foolnath'. The first thing is an onion bhaji, I think the chutney/dip you had with it is tamarind along with a few other ingredients. The second item is a 'bateta vada, a round ball with a potato filling n spices in the mixture. Crisp kinda thing is called 'fafra' and yes they are long lol Sweets include : barfi (pink) available in different flavours and colours, Penda/pendo (yellow) also available in other colours n flav (due to being made with different ingredients) Brown round ball may be a ladwa/ladwo but I am not sure, could be something else but the names are not coming to me at this moment! The orange spiral kinda one is a jalebi. The powder throwing stuff is a festival called 'holi'. And to the twats that take the piss saying spending the next day on the bog, you guys eat shit curries from dodgy places that use colouring and fake masalas hence why u don't know any better. The proper stuff that is homemade won't give u problems. Big up Bvm
