Ignition key
USB drive (at least 1 GB), formatted to FAT32 or exFAT
Access to a computer and the internet

Worked for me! I thought my dealer was updating this when they updated the ECU, apparently not. I'll let them know. I wish they posted the change log.

I wish we could get a cooler start up is there a way to turn off the begging screen when u have to push ok or wait.

That would indeed be fantastic to have a cooler looking boot screen. I'm not aware of any way to bypass the OK screen.

I have a FTR 1200S. I am also registered on the ride command website. However, there is no update available for my bike. I still show only the factory original software available ... March 19, 2019. What was the date of your software update?

Ignore what the webpage says, I think the download link is newer than "original factory". 1951A is newer than 1908A

Just a standard update like you'd do for any computer system. Recommended by Indian. If you were to take your bike into a dealer for service, they'd likely do it without a second thought.

Indeed it would. I went with a Beeline for GPS. Looks great, works well.
