Tail piece: by visiting the place of her ancestors and loved one, she accomplished her mission which her parents and uncles could not do it. It was the desire of my late Amritsar-born father to Visit his beloved city Amritsar which he could visit and died in Lahore. I wanted to accomplish his dream, tried two times to get Indian visa and was rejected (you can guess the reasons). Later, my US born son on a US passport wanted to visit India too, he too was rejected because his parents were born in Pakistan though his grand parents was born in India. So, I still have an unfulfilled dream to visit Punjab of my father and mother which they left in the middle of night, bare footed, few possession on their head and almost walked all the time from Amritsar to Lahore. Pakistan zindabad, Hindustan zindabad.

Our ancestral village, my sister fulfilling the wish of our late fathers who always dreamed of returning home. The baag full of fruits and fields , masjid he used to talk about, and witnessing the love and warmth of the people there was overwhelming.
