Wow, what a great set, Ben. I’m trying to complete my Indian Head cent collection right now. I got the big 3 with the 09-S, 08-S and 77 (the last of which I picked up at your store just a couple weeks ago). I’m down to just needing an 1871, and then upgrading grades from there. If money were no object and I had seen this video two months ago, I would have made you an offer on this whole Dansco book. But, alas, money is an object and I can’t go back in time, so I’ll just have to enjoy this video and dream.🙂

The 1859 and 1865 woodgrain are my favorite from those! Would look good in my woodgrain set. :D Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the grades and authentication.

I've been upgrading my flying eagle/ Indian set in the dansco album. The 1877 in my set would grade AG3, so that one will be a future upgrade

Rick Snow, page 110: "Both Type 1 reverse with shallow N in ONE and Type 3 with a bold N … The popular belief that the genuine coins have the shallow N in ONE (Type 1 rev) is obviously wrong, as both types of reverses are known to exist. Authentication is recommended."

Its insane to see a complete album with an XF 1877 and an AG 1905. Like, they couldn't shell out 50 dollars to get some high grade common dates in there to make the set look a little better and more consistent? Besides, there's too many gems in there to even bother keeping this as an album. All those good ones need to be graded so you know they are legit and can determine their value.
