Prof.Gouri Mahulikar proves herself as the walking encyclopedia of Samskruta literature. It is a wonderful presentation of the overall view of the subject. I would love to attend her workshops. I am a 70 yr old engineer with keen interest in the ancient knowledge our great Rishis have documented. Please let me know if I can join the lectures as an outsider.

We ignored such wealth of knowledge probably because of the invasion by Islamic rulers followed by British. After independence also our leaders focused on wrong aspects of the history neglecting our cultural heritage in the name of socialism and secularism. I am delighted to hear you and only an enlightened soul could study such scriptures and pass on the wealth of information to the next generations. May Adi Sankara bless you a healthy and long life to continue your passionate work of disseminating our Sastras. I am indeed grateful to you. आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु विश्वतः.

Heartening to hear about our herirage from Able Person like Dr Gauri Mahulikar. How come आगम ः शैव , वैष्णव , शाक्त literature was not even mentioned? Kindly Do Speak on Agam literature , Tantra literature which have Ruled over a great majority of ordinary hindu population's everyday life.

Literature you have mentioned are an unquestionable part of our country's culture. Due to their enormity and depth, it will have to be taken up separately after finishing with the 14 vidyasthanas. There is unfortunately not enough time for us learn everything our culture has to offer.

Dear Gauri ji, why Ramayana and Mahabharata are always coming after Upanishads? Are they not more ancient ? Thank you 🙏🏻
@ChinmayaUniversity4 жыл бұрын
Hari Om! Upanisads form a part of Vedic literature, which is known as Shruti, that which is heard. Ramayana & Mahabharata form a part of Itihasa and are known as Smriti, therefore, they come after the Upanisads

It's almost an hour long talk which could not even cover whole gamut of Sanskrit literature. A lot is still out there. Such a vast ocean of knolwedge available in Sanskrit but we are hardly paying any attention to bring this to the vast population.

@Prahlad, the same reason is what inspires us to reach out to more people with whatever we can offer. Let us come together for this noble cause.
