Agreed. They did a few more good episodes, then the network tried to change the show in a way that made it worse-not better.

I'm a Black biker and I fell in love with this show! It had me building old school bar hoppers (6) while my friends was on street bike.. My best bike was a bike that had Indian Larry's tank on it that he threw away.! And I still tell people that's was a biker lifestyle that I loved the mostand glad i did it,, now that I'm on a 2019 roadglide 😅

Great to reminisce about what was definitely the best 'Biker Build Off episode ever, I'm sure I'm not the only one who found this very emotional as you talked about Indian Larry. There were several times throughout the video where I got quite tearful, and I noticed you (Billy) had to pause for a moment at one point.. RIP Indian Larry ❤❤

First off. I had never heard of Indian Larry until this episode. Second it was the best episode of them all. Third life is about stories and that one was epic. It's one of the best I've listened to in a long while. I'm so glad you made this video. You should start fixing people's basket cases and junk and filming it. You would get so many followers. Your knowledge could make someone's dreams come true.

When i was 14 I watched Biker build off in awe of what you guys were creating, This particular episode has been my favorite since. I didnt have an outlet to work on bikes like i wished i could when i was 14 but ive found that recently in my 30s. I asked my 14 year old boy what he wanted to be and he told me a mechanic for bikes and cars, this biker build off was the first thing i showed him and the light in his eyes when we watched it was the same thing i experienced when i watched it the first time. 20 years later you and larry are still positively impacting my life. Thank you for that my friend, hope to run into you at an event one day down here in florida

I just wanted to say thank you to you and Indian Larry and this episode of biker build off … I’ve always been into bikes since I could remember and when I graduated high school in 2011 I got around the wrong people and long story short became a homeless junkie and about 6 years ago I got sober and went to back to school for welding and machining and shortly after I built my first chopper where I actually hand made all the pieces and now I have my own precision machining and welding shop and although building bikes is not what I do here for a living , You and Indian Larry were the major inspiration and influence for me to get my life together and learn the skills I needed to do what I love for a living i never dreamed in a million years I would be were I’m at in life and doing what I love and having the skills to accomplish anything I set my mind to … so once again thank you!!!! 😃👍

Left foot hurt badly. It wasn't my time yet.First accident with broken bones in 32 years. Been binge watching all the shows. Going outside to work on my latest project now, easy does it. Showing my age but..I started building bikes in the 70s, I had all those magazines.. Always liked Indian Larry and what he was doing. Got a tattoo of his logo when he died. RIP My choppers, I'd say were always a combination of Indian Larry, Billy Lane and a touch of Jessie James. When biker build off started, I saw it as a good thing at first. I liked the tech parts and their availability, but it turned out to be the beginning of the end. Hollywood will do that! Just ask Jessie aka Mr. Hollywood. Keep it between the ditches! ✌

It was cool hearing the behind the scenes stories of this episode. I was locked up when this episode aired. I took control of the tv to watch the build off each week. It's the only time i took any interest in the tv. I got clean while i was locked up plus it just clicked for me that time and i was done with doing the getting locked up thing. I knew when i got out this time i wasn't coming back. And to this day i have not been back and i have stayed clean. So that was a monumental time period for me.

I remember watching this in 2003. And was so impressed by how two people that were so supposed to be competing went against the rules and were helping each other.Ever since I always loved Indian Larry and his outlook on life, and how his principles and beliefs were never influenced or tainted by money or other people ( like the tv producers). Billy was very similar thats why they got along so well. I named my cat Rat Fink, cause I remember Indian Larry liked him from Big Daddy. These were genuine guys who are missed everyday. Billy carry on this legacy of genuine uninfluenced and good charactered people. Hard to find good people like this now. Appreciate you sharing your experiences with us Billy!
