I've been to India for 4 months and it was great! But at the end I got food poisoning from (shit) basically there was very small parts of human shit in my food or drink, which is very likely to happen based on the sanity of the country/restaurant. I got a thing called Giardia, I was sick for 3 1/2 months, lost 31 pounds. I'm not saying don't go there, but just be careful ahaha

One of the best parts of growing up in San Francisco is that I’ve had most of the foods talked about in this episode. Indian food is my favorite food. Thai food too! I love chutney. Especially mango chutney. Which is a by product of the British Colonialism era in India. I love Vindaloo and Tika Masala and Paratha and Lhassi too! The food in all of these eastern countries is so amazing because meat usually isn't the main focus of the meal! And because of that, they put so much more love, care and attention into everything else! Here in North America, I feel the typical diet is so boring because we're lazy..it's too easy to have a big slab of meat and throw some frozen veg on the side or something, so we don't know what to do with the "sides"..but it's all those "sides" that when focused on and prepared creatively that make food INCREDIBLE!!!
