30% tax guys have to earn 150rs to buy 110rs / liter petrol. In that 110rs, 80rs is all kinds of taxes. Actual petrol is only 30rs / litre, which is also mixed with ethanol (destorying the engine of many cars).

I bought a insurance for 52k...and I paid 8k as gst, yesterday I renewed my bike insurance paid 1700rs and paid 300 as gst, next month I need to renew car insurance...daily ka petrol & diesel ka kharcha...taxes taxes taxes on everything....seriously fed up with govt. on taxes.

As a gst practicioner all people say less the income tax but the truth is GST Rate is very high and gov earn more than income tax . I people pay 18% and 28% tax every time on purchase even a seller won't get the profile margin more than 15 to 10% after taking risk and gov take 18% without taking any risk . People need understand and 12 % and 5% is more than enough . A ca is a dog of gov who help to monitor the tax paid or not and so why ca get salary from business men why gov don't give salary to ca who help the gov to recover the tax why always businessen men responsibility to to play all

Bro your problem is gst. Our problem is GST+IT which exceeds 50% of our income. Businesses have some way of showing less income but salaried have none. Salaried middle class which acts like BJP is their father's party is being screwed left and right by the government

Following should be implemented in the upcoming budget: 1. 0 income tax for income upto 15LPA. Post 15 LPA the tax slab should start. - 15 to 20 LPA 2.5% - 20 to 25 LPA 5% - 25 to 30 LPA 7.5% - 35 to 40 LPA 10% - 45 to 50 LPA 15% - more than 50 LPA 20% 2. GST for health insurance should be reduced to 5% or should be made gst free 3. There should be capping on school or college fees in metro or non metro cities 4. STT should be removed from stock market transactions.

My suggestions for budget - remove GST from essential services which should be provided by Govt. but they are incapable of doing that like Healthcare, restrict luxury residential projects because this is pricing middle class out of housing - how will a first time buyer buy a premium project, increase corporate tax as we are seeing jobless corporate growth & put it to education budget, remove multiple pensions for legislators - they should get one pension as per last position held, increase number of judges, specially Supreme court because this govt is arresting everyone under laws which have an accused as guilty till proven innocent and lower Judiciary is not taking any decisions - so everything goes to Supreme Court.

giving too many rebate tracking that can be in feasible, like the indexation benefit, we can simply have rebate base lined to year it was introduced and factored by indexation every year. e.g if lohp was introduced in year 1995 with limit to 2 lac, for 2025 the limit could simply indexation based to 2025. govt can revisit this every 10 years or so.. would make things simpler for govt and the rebate may get auto adjusted with inflation..

At least slabs should increase for people who are sole earners of family. Less than 10 lakh rs for a family of 5-6 people is too less in today's age. Plus There is dual taxation in stock market. Modi removed indexation benefits in debt. No deduction in new tax system. In old system No increment in deductions from almost a decade as if inflation was zero in this period😢

if we want to keep income tax, why not extend GST to public as well, so that individual can claim GST benfeit. else, we can have GST for public and abolish income tax. 80c rebate should be increased for sure, agree that 2 lac limit of lohp makes no sense given property prices in metro are sky rocking. clubing of income and claiming just 1500 rebate per minor is as good as not having it at all. agree with mr sangwan that additional rebate can be provided to citizen not using government subsidiaries like ration, govt school education etc
