I love my 2018 Black Hills Silver Elite Chieftain. She's amazing. I get compliments on her all the time. When I saw here, I had an Indian Scout and was a new rider, I had never expected to purchase such a big bike. To begin with, I'm only 5ft tall and as a new rider, I didn't think I could do it but with a few modifications and inspiration from my husband and my friends at Indian, I've been riding her for 2 years now and counting.

Quite the unique paint job. Takes time and dedication to make it look that good. I still love my Chieftain Limited Silver Smoke.

I have a cvo road glide, I think Harley does that fixed faring better in turns of styling, but the this chieftain is way better looking than a street glide. I would get this bike

You left the best engineered, most reliable V-Twins in the world behind to produce this dinosaur. #Victory for life.

You do realize it's the same stuff with a different name and styling, right?
@1964hud6 жыл бұрын
Not quite - the Indian is a push-rod motor. Horsepower was lost, torque is about the same. They are about 55% the same in design. The Victory Cross Country/Cross Roads bikes are stretched out about an in & a half more, which is a pretty big difference for guys 6' tall +. Polaris promised to continue to support the Victory bikes for 10 years after they shut down production. Tell the dealers that. Most of the dealers have pretty much washed their hands of Victory. I've ridden a Chieftain and was ready to jump on board until I found that they are very different bikes, geometrically.

Exactly - I may consider buying an Indian when they produce this bike. It's also the perfect platform for a capable, powerful, adventure machine, ala GSA1200, or KTM Adventure.
