Indian is killing it in the entry & midsize market, HD should take notes. I say that as an HD owner & fan.

Yeah, the sport chief is awesome. 116 but on a frame and build more like the scouts. They're definitely killing it.

I agree with everyone else. I own two Harley Davidsons. A Road King and Iron 883. It’s a market Harley Davidson has chosen to give up. They obviously they don’t want to invest in an entry level motorcycle.
@KevinButler8163 күн бұрын
The Nightster has more HP more torque and more standard equipment for the same price when you add the limited option on the Scout 60. Check out a side by side comparison. The 975 cc Harley has better performance numbers than the Scout 60s 999cc. Front brakes on the Nightster are 4 piston vs 2 piston on the 60s. Nightster has a 6 speed transmission with a slipper clutch while the 60 has only a 5 speed

Cheaper than the previous Scout Sixty gen??? Finally. FINALLY! Western motorcycle companies are finally realizing they've been pricing themselves out of favor with the new generations. For too long the game was "this year's bike is slightly better, so it will cost that much more, not just an inflationary adjustment, because bikers can't help but want the best of the best". That caused these obscene, I-might-as-well-buy-a-car prices. Triumph came out with their 400cc models, and Kawasaki lowered the price on some of their bikes. The industry is finally healing.

As someone who had a 2017 scout. I was EXTREMELY disappointed in it. Only thing it did well was look good. The old scout 60 seems like it would have been super disappointing. At least. The new ones. Add Cruze control for when you get bored of doing nothing but going straight (the only thing the scout is good for) it's not fast or comfortable and can't turn

Fantastic! Great move by Indian to bring the '25 Scout updates to the Scout 60s. As a new '25 Scout owner I predict these bikes will sell really well, and owners will be very pleased. Indian, if anyone involved in Ride Command reads these comments, I hope you will push out a software update that will allow us riders to upload pre-planned rides to the 4" displays. This will be hugely appreciated by this rider and let me get rid of my phone mounted to the handlebars.

Is this bike based on the Scout 101? It looks almost EXACTLY like my Scout 101 except smaller displacement engine. I know it's missing the bells and whistles right, but the "look" looks like it's bigger brother in the line up with the 1250cc engine

I'd like to at least test one out, but as for buying it, there's no way I ever could afford one. I'm retired in Alberta Canaduh where that $9999 would be more like $20,000. So I'll just have to stick with my '98 883.

@@ganuvien possibly, but then you need extra long arms to reach the bars. The 101 (I test road one) is bad enough with forward controls.

All those male riders look too big for the bike. I really wish you guys would put forward controls on the bikes as standard and make factory seat options for taller riders.... On the Chief as well. As is (with mid controls) those bikes look wildly uncomfortable! And to be honest, your "forward controls" are not forward enough for true comfort. I've been riding for over 30 years. (I'm 6'6") I know what I'm talking about...
@erickagrinsonis27865 күн бұрын
The larger 1250 scout comes standard with forwards
@ganuvien5 күн бұрын
@@erickagrinsonis2786 The scout frames in general are still super small for 6ft+ riders.
@adammiller91794 күн бұрын
To each their own. I will not ride any bike with forward controls. It is so unnatural of a seating position on a bike or in life. Legs sprawled out and reaching over your shoulders is the most uncomfortable position I can think of. Catering to someone well above average height doesn't seem like the best business decision.
