Indian Navy Day | 4th December
Navy Day in India is celebrated on 4 December every year to recognize the achievements and role of the Indian Navy to the country. 4 December was chosen as on that day in 1971, during Operation Trident, the Indian Navy sank four Pakistani vessels including PNS Khaibar, killing hundreds of Pakistani Navy personnel.

देश में भारतीय नौसेना की उपलब्धियों और भूमिका को पहचानने के लिए भारत में हर साल ४ दिसंबर को नौसेना दिवस मनाया जाता है। ४ दिसंबर १९७१ में उस दिन के रूप में चुना गया था, ऑपरेशन ट्राइडेंट के दौरान, भारतीय नौसेना ने पीएनएस खैबर सहित चार पाकिस्तानी जहाजों को बहा दिया, जिससे सैकड़ों पाकिस्तानी नौसेना के जवान मारे गए।

Staying physically fit during long voyages was one of the main reasons the hornpipe was a thing! This one is pretty authentic too as a lot of the moves mimic motions sailors would make, but in dance fashion. I I seriously love this dance!

I was in the sea cadets in the 70s it was hard but very rewarding ts jawahar captain ahuja travel by train from bandra to church gate every Sunday then best bus from churchgate to afghan church then a short walk to the training ship one word which you cannot forget is defaulter yes well very good memories and I would recommend any child to enroll themselves I've been in the shipping business for 30 yrs iam in the middle east in Bahrain for 37 years God bless the sea cadet corps and all associated with this organisation aleluia amen

They had sailor collar and scarf uniform until 60s, I've seen it in the videos. I don't know why they stopped wearing traditional sailor uniform.

British culture is way different. Most of the song's navy band plays is Indian songs but little militarised version of it. Don't say you are talking about uniforms. 99% navy outfit designs in world are like these . This is part of our culture now accept it.
