That Quirky Miss much needed. Going through it right now..my present situation is the reason i started youtube channel..i understand my parents worry for me. And yes sometimes even relatives behave like such crooked neighbours and parents lose trust. Difficult to get back the trust. I totally relate to this video.. This is the most beautiful video i have watched this year💖 totally what im going through right now. I hope i seriously meet you some day..i hope by then my things are sorted. Till then i hope i get back on my feet with my youtube as that is what i can do right now. Thankyou Adi for being sooooo frank with us. I want to prove to my parents that i can do it as my family isnt that supportive of my youtube love. And really true that my justification to my mom was that she wouldnt understand. This topic is so relatable to me and i guess to the quirky squad.. Please do more videos like this as it is really helpful for young girls to understand their patents💖💖💖 Love MaryMVincent

Touchwood i'm so lucky that i have the world's best parents. When i was in 10th class i met a guy & fall in love instantly n luckily he feels the same for me. But first thing i did is to tell my mom. I introduced him to my parents & they said they have no problem with the guy same thing he does & this all was done by us at the age of 15-16 & i'm so proud of my parents because they have trusted me blindly & my choice. & now we have decided to get married after the 7 years of dating. And both of the parents are happy plus we're on cloud 9 thank you god for giving me the bestest parents & life partner. :') ❤ Update- Hi guys just wanted to update we called off our marriage & he's married to someone else now :) Life sucks sometimes but thank you for such lovely wishes 🥺❤️

Omg exactly when I was 15 i met a guy ...in only one month my parents got to know about him because of my elder sister and i got slapped by my sister even my father who never even touched us before.... it brings tears in my eyes when I remember that phase of my life.... everything was against me .. I remember my sister and maternal uncle and aunt used to sit around me and ask me question as if I was a terrorist....the worst they did to me was they called my friends scolded them as hell... went to my school insulted them in front of everyone.... I always said that my friends have nothing to do with it...but things were worst.... I know I was too young for all these things like boyfriend and all but my sister could have handled it in a better way...(she is eleven years elder than me)...... But now after 6 years I have managed all the things and me and my love are still together and now our families are okay with it...like i dont go to his house neither he comes to mine but ya our families know about us

i just wanna add that sometimes, parents just won't understand, no matter how much you try. in such cases, try to find some parental figure or older sibling you trust. don't sacrifice your teenage years trying to meet your parents' sky high expectations but also don't be reckless or immature that you ruin your life. perfect balance is the key. having decent grades is imp, but so is making memories.

Everyone faces this kind of situation in their life atleast in india. And saying that parents are always right is not correct in all cases. Parents are human beings too and they make wrong decisions as well like any other individual. Also there is a generation between us and them. I have seen parents forcing their kids in marriages by emotionally blackmailing them which later results in a lifeless relation for their child which they have to bear whole of their lives. In our parents generation it was fine to get married without knowing the other person and later adjust with him but it wont work for us, since in our generation both the partners are working and independent and they can't adjust to the limit our parents used to. I think even parents need to think what their kids are going through and not criminalize such small acts of having a boyfriend or getting less numbers.

It's almost 2021 still children have to fight for love Marriages it's pretty sad!!!! Just because some stupid people got married with stupid or cheater through their own and their marriage life didn't work doesn't mean it would be applicable to all. Every individual is different and I've been practical for relationships and I've dated a hubby material only!!!! That's why I'm confident enough to fight and convince my parents for it , I just pray everyday his business would run soon and both families would approve each other !!!!!

Hahah being a typical Indian Mum, she doesn’t approve of it still but I don’t regret a single bit of revealing everything to her. A little advice, do tell your parents people!!!!! It helps a lot. And if any parent is reading this give your children some space and communicate with them. Because it’s that age when you do everything to stop them from dating, they will go to the end of world to date them!

I'm going through all this... i'm now 21.. I was never so close to both my parents as they don't have any time for me since I was small... Asa hota h na ki jb apke paas ghr pe koi nhi ho baat krne wala and sunne wala u feel alone and then u get attracted toward someone and get into a relationship.. but I'm blessed with such a good person who literally know me much more than anybody...and now almost 5 year completed and he never distracted me rather he always supports me and he says galatiyan kro to maano bhi... Also relation me aane ke baad mera vo attitude ki koi mujhe nhi smjhta and chilla ke baat krna har baat pe and har baat pe chid jana bahot haadh takk kam ho gya 'cause he is so calm and patience with me... He listens to me every single time cahe kitta bhi jaruri kaam ho... And of course unki mumma ki friend ne scene create kr diya jb ki tb hum sirf best friends the But he handled every thing bade pyaar se... But I really hope ki parents accept kr le 'cause ye relation hi inter caste h I should say inter religion...

Force unhone bas isliye kiya kyunki mera khud ka koi plan nahi tha. And wo stressed the ki main meri life ko lekar kya karoongi. Uss waqt unko yahi sahi laga to unhone mujhe isi direction mein push kiya. And ek baar nahi, baar baar karte rahe. Kitna rona dhona hua, sleepless nights aur pata nahi kya kya. Main humesha se hi unhe blame karti rahi. But ab nahi karoongi yaar... Main pehle yeh kyun samajh nahi paayi yaar...😢😢😢😢

Not all parents are like this but there are some of them that just want to live their life through us and we become their scapegoats. Some of them mean well and don't even realise what they are doing to their children. They tell us what to do and what is right which may not always be true but it was true for them but what they don't realise is that we are their children and not a means of living life all over again. Please if any parent or to be parent or if you know you want to have kids in the future is reading this please just support your child and not tell them what to do because mistakes are a learning curve and shape you as a person and I think one should encourage their kids to make mistakes and learn from them instead of aiming to be perfect. And also I'm not only talking about small mistakes in projects but also about mistakes in life in general whether big or small . I know India is not safe especiailly for girls but I think it is important to teach them to stay away from creepsters and how to protect themselves than to curb their freedom because let's face it you won't be with your child at every moment so it's better to teach them to be self reliant . I'm a 20 year old and I have gone through whatever I have written in this comment so I'm saying this from experience.

I looooveeed the video... My dad is also very strict from the beginning and mum is fine but still she doesn't understand a lot of things especially this boyfriend and short clothes and stuff but I deal with it every day. I never had a boyfriend and I still don't have one because I always thought what my parents reaction would be and I'm still not ready for their reaction so.. And career wise I was also interested in creative side but because of my dad I didn't try to go against them... Nahi kr skte sb bacche CA or IAS... 😢 My dad says job thori krwani h yr tmse... Ye wo.. I argue sometimes. He doesn't believe in me at all and I can see that in his eyes. Although he loves me more than anything else but his words and that old minded thinking hurts a lot. Anyway.. Nice video Aditi.. Love you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ KEEP GROWING...you proved yourself girl💖 I wish to prove myself one day too.

Meghana sahu hi dear.. Your parents and we have this generation gap so dont expect that they will understand us in every stages of our life..Sometimes we are wrong, sometimes they..I agree with Aditi no one is perfect. There is no syllabus or 10 years question papers for passing parenting examinations and situations.. One thing i just want to suggest, try to talk to your parents about your career. If you are interested and passionate in creative fields.. do that!! Do such job that you are passionate about,in that way you will never feel that you are working..Talking from experience.😊

Totally loved this vedio. Its really nice & brave of you to share your life & stories with a large audience so that they can learn & grow out of the events happened in their lives. It will be absolutely helpful to many teenagers to make a bond with their parents.😊. I'm also in a phase where i have to figure out what i have to take up as a career. You were inspiring & totally amazing in the vedio. Lots of love. More power to you.😘

Can I tell mine ... My parents are slightly conservative and they have always been before bf , career .. But you don't have the control over things and situation .. Happened to know a guy , fell for him ... initially denied the proposal and idea of hiding the truth from my parents since I had never hid anything ! This time it went different .. But I managed to draw the line and he helped :) Limited no. Of calls but need to talk . Mom understood by my way of talking to this special one ! She didn't say that she knows now .. But she told me .. "Main tumko sara samjhti , Tum mujhe sahi samjhna " I was like Mom , what are you ! I have never talked about this uptill now ...

So so sooooo relatable in every which way. I am also from a typical Indian family. And listening to your story I felt like I am talking to a very close friend. In midst of this you somewhat inspired us a lot. Thank you for being so genuine, without any filters. I was literally glued to my screen throughout the whole video.

I'm watching this in 2020 & same thing happened with me in my teenage that was truly I believe immature age but you're at high on every thing b'coz of hormones, so it happened. Now I'm at that age when we fully matured & understand things. I can fully relate with your conversation on this topic.

I love you so much for doing this. I stumbled upon your channel recently and I've found this to be so relatable. It's really brave and so honest of you to have put your experiences out their and there's a very thin line between making our parents seem bad while being honest and making them seem responsible. You did your job perfectly. Conveyed the msg really well. God bless you in whatever you take up!
