This is very exciting news as this is not only environment friendly but also helps to meet iur energy needs. I did this same tech for my 3rd year mini project in BE. I used thermal pyrolysis as a process and used HDPE and LDPE as raw material input . This procedure helps to obtain a type of fuel which needs further treatment for industrial use.

It may even take a whole life time of the investor without a guaranteed return in future, with a possibility that a newer more effective solution will arrive in near future. In such a case, only a person not looking for profit will be able to setup such a plant. It is rare to find a businessman, not looking for Exponential profit, these days. Maybe one of the Billionaire Philanthropists can do it, that is if they actually care about the world.

Don't know about dhavan sir, but i find it nearest to the perfection. Plantation ke liye jagah koi issue nahi hai, Delhi ke Ghazipur trash se to kam jagah pe aa hi Jayega. And investment to government and private giants kar hi sakte hain itna. 3rd 80-90% bhi diesel milta hai to kya bura hai? At least plastic to khatm ho raha hai, diesel to complimentary hai.

2 crore investment . 7% interstate's rate =14lakh per year .but profit is only 7 lakh . but if we do little research and set up good size plant . then I think you can earn 10%+ interstate's

I'm civil engineer, I am using plastic bottle (filled with waste soil or mud) in wall constructions and it is cheaper and light weight than brick also it can be used as the crush plastic in base course or sub base course in road construction. (The first use of plastic bottle wall in construction in Africa 50 yr ago). This waste to energy is very good step as turning plastic in to fuel.

As you mentioned, the problems are not so much. We have land for big scale industries then also have land for this good initiative, second problem that you mentioned is about money , we are 5tg largest economy and 2nd highest population, worst atmosphere - this is enough reason to give money to start this project bon big scale, and about 3rd problem, the diesel we get is not in purest form. Ohk, that can be debatable issue. If the output of garbage is not we needed, it means nothing. But if 80-85% of purest diesel also can use somewhere in a large amount. Then this is the best idea I heard. We should implement this as fast as possible.
