Show respect for my tribe. Many of you insist on Natives to look a certain way is ignorant and absolutely absurd. Others even expect full blooded Natives to be extremely prevalent in our community. Us Natives do not just breed within our community our just with other tribes. Our dna , our heritage, our culture and every part of us runs deep and true to where we are from regardless of us loving whoever we want in order to bring life into this world. Your expectations of Natives is exactly why ignorance runs high with outsiders. Learn us and not the stereotypes. ☀️

Have you ever endured one of our sweat lodges. Or a fullmoon ritual on a beautiful night. Just because you don't see does not mean we do not exist. Our culture is sacred enough things have been stolen from us. Everything is not to be shared. Respect our Nation.

I go there once a month for my cigs. In the warmer weather there are lots of people trying to get you to stop and ask what you want and they try to get you to go to their store. I just roll my window down and tell them where I am going and they smile and nod their head and are very nice. Seems if you are a regular who is going to a specific shop, they are cool with it. Nice people there. I had no idea it was so big! I go to a shop that is one of the first ones you see. If you are a regular they usually discount the regular price for you.

@denisechristiansen4633 Жыл бұрын
I was thinking that the area is set up like an old fishing village and then it dawned on me that that is most likely what it once was. City planners and developers didn’t mow everything down and create street grid patterns. Even the homes and the yards are situated as they would be in an old village. I wouldn’t call this a hood. I’m sure it’s pretty safe to visit as the shops rely on business coming in from other areas and would not want a reputation as being a dangerous place to visit. I would think that the people in charge there would have a handle on that.

They do a lot of business. There's even a gas station. I once went to 1 of the very 1st shops when you enter the red. His stock looked very sparse. I didn't want to let him know I had cash on me. He said "I have to get the balance of what you want from another shop." He asked how I was paying. I told him a debit card. It took his man about 15 min to come back with the stuff. I could've sworn they were robbing the place. Once they counted out my stuff I pulled out the cash, packed up and hopped back in the waiting taxi.

They’re supposed to Bogarde because YOU’RE waiting on line.? And you are ?
