Love love this series!! Your breakdown of the scoring is super helpful and, though surprising, it made sense why it got such a low score. Can't wait for the next one!!

It is so fun to see (and hear) your joy with the little things that make riding fun. The Scouts were on my short list when I was bike shopping not too long ago. They are solid and Polaris has a good reputation. Looking forward to your next try out. Cheers!

The model explanation at the start was a big help for me, now the different Scout models Kinda make sense to my pea brain😊 Looked like it was fun to ride.. I thought the spoke wheels gave sort of a visual Lightness to this model very cool.. look forward to your next try out ride! 👍

Keep looking, I’d love to see you try an inline 4 engined bike. Maybe a CB, GSX or a Z bike. Japanese brands do offer good value even if the bikes aren’t as stylish

At heavy bikes use the rear brake the last 20m to a stop. Then you keep it straight. When you plan to park…..look at the surface, incline and place it so you can easily drive away, afterwards. Plan ahead,….the it never surprises you. Nice to see how you enjoy the first rides!!! For me 45 years ago,,,…haha!

When I demo’d some Indian bikes, inconceivably I liked the baggers better than the Scout range. Which was bonkers to me given the size of them, but I found the ride feel smoother-specifically the Springfield and Chieftain that I tried. I did also really love the look of the Scouts, but I think your video demonstrates a lot of the reasons why I went another direction haha. +1 for trying some Triumphs! As an owner of two I’m not biased at ALL lol. You might enjoy the Speed Twin range if you’re shopping for a daily rider-1200 specifically (I think given your riding experience you can skip the 400/900).

I’m new to your Chanel and loveing it man there’s nothing like riding a motorcycle my happiest times were on a motorcycle I started off on a Honda 750 then a sportster to a gf low rider then a 2021 eletra glide my favorite bike so far wich I lost during the inflation 😢 but I hope to be back on soon I think I want to go with Indian the dark horse but those mini apes you have on that bike look tempting stay safe out there

Surprised it scored below the Rebel, not so much the Sportster S as it’s a more expensive bike with more features and power. I’m curious to see where the Ducati lands in the future.
@RidewithRea5 күн бұрын
It was mainly due to the look of the twenty! If it were the regular scout bobber or the scout bobber sixty, I really think it would’ve made the top of my list &yes I look forward to doing a part 2 of the Ducati!! 😊

Have you done a video on your new gear? Remember seeing one when you first started riding with the black jacket. But looks like you've got on some kind of shirt that has armour in it. I'm planning a trip to Thailand so looking for some gear to be worn in tropical climate, figure Hawaii is close enough

Interesting and fun watch, genuinely takes me back to being a new rider. Comment: On some of the corners, you have a good line. On others, randomly, not as much, so if you work on that, you'll gain a lot. Look up videos/images of racing lines, the idea not being to become a racer, but develop an ability to assess the racing line as you actually ride on the street, where that line is also the most efficient path through a corner or series of corners. Cool bike. Wildly beautiful bike with the right treatment. Not the most comfortable. I haven't paid attention to new bikes in awhile - but maybe check out the Yamaha Bolt? It has a huge aftermarket, which is what I look for in bikes/cars.

I own the new sport scout and love it the only thing I don’t like about it is the long load times for the display and the sound, also I don’t like asking locals there hidden gems but what trail were you on!?! Ik you started down by Ala Moana and the ride looks amazing I usually go down by the halona blowhole for the views and tight curves. And lastly love your videos and it helped me get into riding again,

Great review , nice looking bike . Too expensive and too heavy for me but still beautiful. Don't know if there's a Moto Guzzy dealership in your area but if so please check out the v7 850. It sits a little higher but the bike is lighter with tons of character and beautiful retro styling. Around $10k in the USA , I believe. I think you may like . Ride safe

As a 21 Bobber owner, I'm offended by your ranking the sportster over a scout bobber!! Haha, they are both great bikes. Interesting review, I enjoyed it. I do think you are unfairly docking the bobber points on braking. The one you rode apparently had an issue. A bobber in good riding condition (one with no malfunction codes) would have no issues in the braking category. So give the bobber another chance!! Find the version you really want (the rogue?, the regular bobber?) and one with no codes present and ride that one. I think it would move up your rankings...

The patented Rea Weeeeee Lol 😂 Rea as far as the weight of the motorcycle you have to park it so don’t have to back it out from an inclined position. You would back it in if it was on a slight hill.

scout rogue in 2025 is not called rogue any more now it's called Sport Scout... you know to add to confusion and it doesn't have apes it has riser bar with normal handlebars Scout 60 bobber is basically response to bikes like rebel 1100 and maybe new riders that want to start with indians... in few years we will have quite good after market with used 60ties in good prices

I'm not sure why you're even looking at bigger bikes? If I had to rate your riding skills I'd give you about a 5 out of 10. Granted, I haven't seen any other videos. You should stick with the Rebel for a while more until you're better at cornering, gear awareness, parking on an incline, slow maneuvers, etc. As for your physical size, I don't think that has any bearing given I've seen Doodle on huge touring bikes w/o issues. Best of luck & stay safe 🏍
