BTW just FYI for everyone technicallly these were not autotunes but just studio version. The way shooting a movie with a HD or 4K improves the quality similarly in a recording studio version with appropriate mic to capture high and low nodes, surrond noise reduction to supprass breath sounds sometimes etc alongwith the music creates different impact than a raw acapella kind of version recorded probably from mobile or a mic supposed to be used to speech not singing. Autotune is used when a singer misses the scale or note "Sur chut jana" and when the song is digitally altered. For example Arijit was very good in live too the studio version sounded same but better because the live version was recorded either on non-singing in the video or from mobile so all his lower nodes are sounding like humm and the room is such that there is zero reverb. Whereas Shreya on the other side was singing in one of the most famous singing competeting show where its expeceted even judges to sing and this it has be an appropriate mic and the live singing clip was taken from the TV broadcast which is processed. No doubt Shreya's voice is like an wind instrument but both Arijit and Shreya are my favourite and Arijit also doesnt need any autotune neither there was any in the song.

The trained voices of Shreya and Arijit don’t really need autotune. Then again, for those of you may not be aware, each and every song released has some level of autotune. If you were to categorize them for using autotune from 0-10, in this particular compilation, Shreya and Arijit are possibly at 1-2. Whereas the singers you thought weren’t using autotune - Shirley - for sure is using the software to a much higher degree than Palak. Also, as much as I like this channel’s reviews, kindly use higher quality headsets to actually be able to figure out the nuances in voices before arriving at any conclusions. Cheers!

almost all of Indian known big singers dont need auto tune but the most of the none auto tune videos we saw hade very low quality except few. some were recorded with mobiles other with good studios mic like Arijit and Shriya Ghosal thats why the sounded better
