Indian railways should re introduce these old gems on tracks @ even one train for a shortest distance in each railway zone so that these new generation should know the oldest memories and history of Great Indian Railways

If you're a steam train locomotive lover you should visit UK once. You have daily steam trains running as part short heritage lines as well as the longer mainline as well. UK still has over 500 steam locomotives of different types in working condition.

Though steam engines are phased out, steam power is still indirectly used to power the electric locomotives. Imagine how? The thermal power plants which generate electricity uses steam turbines.
