Hi Mark. The only place I hadn't visited from your video was the Chai stall, in your first Mumbai video. Guess what, I tracked him down and I was at his stall 30 minutes back, opposite CST, St. George Hospital. His name is Praksh, I showed him your video and he was absolutely delighted though the nearby vendors teased him brutally for now being world famous Chaiwala😂 and he smiled ear to ear for the 15 min I was there. He asked me to convey his gratitude. So, now I can safely declare myself as Mark Wiens certified foodie of Mumbai 😂😁 Thanks for all the great videos and all the smiles that you spread. +TravelerPat HahaHaa... Thank you. By the way if you know any Maharashtrian family, then ask them to make Daal, Fenugreek leaves bhaaji and rice for you topped with Ghee. I will eat and choose this combination any time over the most exotic food in the world. It's awesome😁 Making Vada Pav is very easy. You just need few basic ingredients. Ingredients for Vada Boiled Potato 1/2 kg (smash it coarsely ones they cool down) Green Chillies finely chopped - 5-6 corriender chopped - 1/4 cup ginger - 1 inch grated garlic - 6-7 cloves crushed cumin seeds - 2 tea spoon mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon corriender seeds - 2 tea spoon (optional) curry leaves - 6-7 turmeric powder - 1/10 part of tea spoon oil, salt Heat 3 table spoon of oil in a pan and add cumin and mustard seed to it (make sure they don't turn black ). Add ginger garlic and sautee for 30 sec. Add green chillies, curry leaves and turmeric powder. Add the smashed (coarsely) potatoes and salt. Stir the mixture for 1-2 min. let it cool down. Sprinkle chopped corriender and mix well Make small size patties. For Batter 1/2 Cup of chickpea flour, salt, 1 tea spoon hot oil, pinch of turmeric and water Make batter (of chocolate syrup consistency) Deep the patties in the batter and dip fry it. You can buy Chutney from your local store. Bun or Pav should not be sweet. Try the recipe and let me know how was the out come. :)

The only thing you have to do is pay thrice the price we pay to street Vendors. Chowpatty (Juhu & Girgaum) both have designated places for vendors but avoid them if you are a germophobe.

In the north you'll find their own regional food. Not like what you get in Mumbai. You'll see some pani Puri/bhel Puri stalls like the Mumbai ones but don't try those because they won't taste as good. It's their own regional food that they make best. I'm not a Rajasthani or UP ite so idk. But as much as I've travelled north India, their parathas, chole bature, chaats, etc are great!!

Go to Banaras and Lucknow for amazing food. In lucknow go for gilauti kebab and in Rajasthan jaipur go for awadh dum biryani and gatte ki sabzi. enjoy
