Hate crime??!!! I Punjabi Indian living in Edmonton from last one year. Working under City of Edmonton. Most of my colleagues are non Indians mostly Whites. They dont hate us. But they are not happy with attitude of Punjabi people especially. We dont follow Canadian laws, make mockery of them, loitering a lot, loud and over proud. There are lot of things which i cant write or say on social media but we all knows what is going on. Just spreading false propaganda about other community is not right. If you think Canada is that unsafe ,move back to India. Nobody is stopping you.

recently i went to alberta.. in a sightseeing bus group of indians were do loud every other race was getting pissed off.. i looked at them in anger several times but thn too tgey were loud shouting laughing like monsters.. literally no manners.. i was so ashamed... i dont understand when will these hooligans learn manners? tht is wht they will teach their kids

Talking about hate, " haven't we Punjabis hate each other"?? Don't we look down on our own community. Because of one person you can't point out the whole white community to be racist. We are here in white people country because they gave us equal opportunity to earn and settle down. Let's take a example what we do in Punjab with Christian Missionaries. Isn't that hate crime too. But is doesn't make all Punjabis are bad. Calling our action is not justifying of anything.I just saying because of one incident don't give bad name to Canada which is dreamland for many of us.

Hey, please stop spreading misinformation. This isn't a hate crime. The area where this incident happened has a lot of homelessness and drug-related issues, making it dangerous for everyone. Recently, five of my wife's colleagues were attacked there at different times, and none of them were Indian. Homeless individuals, often high on fentanyl, frequently roam the area, and those of us living in Edmonton are well aware of the situation. Please stop spreading false narratives.

I’m not an international student here, my Indian education laid a red carpet for me to come to Canada or go anywhere else in the world😂, the people unwanted in Canada are the unskilled Indian international students who can’t even speak a sentence in English. Trust me I haven’t even seen such poor quality of Indian students back in Indian colleges, now I understand why I wasn’t able to see them as they are all coming here.

I agree with everything you said. People from one particular community should reflect upon themselves and stop their entitled behavior. Living in Canada is a privilege, not a fundamental right. Most students tend to forget this. Also, I feel the large influx of students gives them an incentive to not assimilate in Canadian culture. They are comfortable within their own local groups, and that further aggravates the problem. When I came to Canada 10 years ago, there were not many Indians here (where I live) and I was forced to assimilate with local Canadians and learn their way of life. Nowadays I don't see that happening.

We live in a small, calm city Recently we are seeing a gp of indians ( not mentioning this particular community) blocking the route, putting loud music, talking in their local language and causing discomfort to customers going to Mac Donald. Same eay in front of Wall Mart, patking in wrong places, blocking customers. This eay they are creating hatred . Truth is always bitter but we learn something from these viddeos which saves us when we face any problem. All students should view the video and always try to be safe. Always keep a safe distance from the customers at the workplace and while walking alone be alert . No one is there to save you so you have to be extra careful.👍👍

Death is not good and I pray for his departed soul. But I have seen some Indian guys make things bigger and escalated just like Indian Medias do. Yes, its not a minor issue but don't say that no any Indians are safe. There are a few Indias I have seen that they said once yes they are here to capture Canada. They said they want to be everywhere and rule Canada. This kind of mentality creates hate not only for Indians only but for other community also. See, I am from Nepal and recently in US two Nepalese were killed by unknown guys. One at her own apartment and another at Gas station. Now, every Nepali is usafe? Are they being targeted? No. we have to calculate in ratio. Yes, incident can happen anywhere with anyone but that doesn't mean no one is safe. Stop making this video scaring other people. and I hate those few people who said they were here to capture all. I hate this statement even if my community says.
