Stop this bro, Hinduism means to be educated thats why we have so many scriptures.. how many have you read ? People will claim they are hindu and don't haven't read 1% of religious books. A Hindu must have read 1000 books before he can claim himself as a Hindu.

Correction: Hinduism entails “33 koti” Gods. The word “koti” in Sanskrit means both, crore and category, and here, it’s the latter. In short, Hindus have several Gods, classified in 33 categories, and often this is mistaken as 33,00,00,000 - 33 crore that is. And yes, not every temple visit in India ends in a shoe hunt. We do have plenty of those temples where they have arrangements similar to the one in here. So, kindly refrain from stereotyping or being judgemental. Hope you found bliss in that little visit. Appreciate your initiative.

There would be no Buddhism today! No Sikhism, Jainism or the tribal religions either! If the Mayans had invented Yoga, we wouldn't of it today, the Christian conquerors burned all their books! Hello. There are no 33 million gods, the word koti in Sanskrit means both million and types. In Hindu dharama / religion we have 33 types of God. 8 Vasus: earth water fire air ether moon sun and stars 11 rudras (10 nervaric forces of the human body and 1 human soul) + 12 adityas (the 12 months of the year) + 1 Indra (thunder or electric force) and 1 prajapati (purification of air food and water) =33 types . @@Eliojnk actually Hinduism has very unique concept of multiplicity of divinity. So you can't limit the number of forms the paramatma (supreme being) takes, the god is insufficient to understand Hindu concepts. They use one term god, but Hindus have such complex understanding of universe that we explained cosmos using terms such a Paramatma/Parabrahmam, Trimurtis-Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Trishaktis, Devas(rigvedic gods---gods of physical realm) and we have different celestials to aid them such as Yakshas, Kinneras, Kimpurushas, Nagas etc.

Thanks a lot sir for showing us one of the magnificent temples in the world. I want to correct you at one place where you said Hindus have 33 million Gods. Actually we have only 33 types of Gods it's a hindi word that has several meanings and that created this mis interpretation. That word is " Koti " which means crores( number ) and types at the same time. We say Hindus have 33 kotis of Gods which truly translates to 33 types of Gods. But some people took the different meaning the number one and so it lost it's true meaning. I hoe you take this as an compliment. Thanks a lot sir!!! Your video was awesome 👌

Dear, hindus saying 33 million god is a metaphor nobody has counted it is use to explain the infinite nature of the universe and parallel universes and multi universes manifested by a unified consciousness or in hindu philosophy each one entity is an independent intelligent including all humans. All are essentially part of same consciousness /God. We do not call them Gods but and connected as one consciousness call as brahman. God and its concept in abrahamic religion is different meaning. Outsiders should not see hindu religion in binary logic but should see multi dimensional logic . When you say 33 million, other people will get confused as it will not make any sense to them. Anyway thanks for your video. I enjoyed it.

Great point. It is actually a case of mis-translation. Sanskrit verse actually mentions "trayastrimsati koti". In Sanskrit, trayastrimsati means 33 and koti has 2 meaning - crore (10 million) and type/class. It was actually meant to be 33 class of gods, but someone mis-translated to 33 million or 330 million.

2:50 Not 33 million gods 😂 it’s a misconception! According to the mythology it’s 33 FORMS of gods. The foreign scholars who translated the scriptures mistook the word ‘KOTI’ as crore or million! 😂😂

33 koti devta not 33 crore, koti means uchhtam and sarvashresht.so it's 33 I don't know the name.Other than them are human like Shri Rama Shri Krishna. But we celebrate their lives love them treat them as our God.There is say that God can in any form. That is why they are our God.Who served the mankind humanity. Thanks

Ancient Indian temples were actually built on specific locations where Earth's magnetic field is highly felt( it has health benefits).Usually social gatherings took place at temples so they forbid people from carrying their footwear inside the premises to prevent the contamination of invisible germs, as people generally sit on the floor. Till today in some parts of India people leave their footwear outside their homes for the same purpose.
