Dear Bristi, main aapki recipes har roz dekhti hoon. But aaj subscribe kiya aur comment bhi kar rahi hoon. Main bengali hoon, Jhinga Posto mein aap adrak nahi uske jagah jeera powder dena. Baki sab jo aapne dia wo sabhi dena, usse taste bahut achha aata hai. Adrak se posto ka ek vishesh flavor hota hai wo suppress ho jata hai. Aap adrak nahi dalke banake dekhiye, bahut tasty lagega.

Being from Bengal I can assure you that we don't add tej patta to "Jhingey posto". Add one dry red chilli instead and some chopped green chillies.

Hi Bristi, really love the way you explain all the recipes in such a simple way. Today's food preparation was excellent. Jhinga postu is one of my personal favourites. Just wanted to add, for this curry we can always soak postu in some warm water 2-3 hours prior so that the postu grinds well. Adding cashews is also another good option. Thank you. 😊
