1 draft pick. Rookie of the year. Slow are not. Big blocks, 12 points a game, plus assist, and rebound. Go Gamecock family

@jamesbeardslee3903 Her body has taken abuse from double teams. She came out last year. Rookie of the year. Over 50 percent shooting. People don't respect bigs. Without those 2 blocks against Atlanta. Fever would have lost. Just facts

CC is being held back by the coach and the league itself. Bulls did not draft Jordan and tell him to pass the ball, they turned him loose and built a team around his abilities. Indiana just does not get it.
@DublAJay21 күн бұрын
She had free reign in college and yes she racked up accomplishments but she also left college without a National Championship. A 1 woman show won't get the Fever the results they want. CC's passing ability will be her biggest asset. She's going to get doubled (or tripled), as she was during the preseason.
@chrishafner573321 күн бұрын
What are you talking about? In what way are the coach or the league holding her back? They have played two preseason games and she has had plenty of opportunity to shine. There is no problem here and no villain for whatever nonexistent problem you see. As for turning her loose, they are giving her the keys to the offense while giving her coaching to help her improve. The worst thing for CC’s career would be nobody being brave enough to coach her and help her hone her game. Jordan began winning championships when he bought into Phil Jackson’s system and that involved Jackson challenging him to shape his game. And CC welcomes it, she wants that feedback and wants to be coached. She’s no china doll that needs to be protected, she’s a tough-minded professional athlete.
@anthonypuccetti877921 күн бұрын
@@chrishafner5733 People thought that Christy wanted Caitlin to stop shooting long 3s because of what Christy said at the post game media conference.
@chrishafner573321 күн бұрын
@@anthonypuccetti8779 I heard her comments and didn’t hear anything like that. Sides said as she matures CC will need to make faster decisions and stop floating. Those things are true. The faster decisions thing is something Steph Curry has talked about regarding his own game.
@anthonypuccetti877921 күн бұрын
@@chrishafner5733 She said Caitlin is used to dancing with the ball by the three point line and referred to it as habit that she needs to break, and she said she gave Caitlin a rule to shoot the ball in .5 seconds, and she wants her to make long 2 point shots.
@nighttrain740418 күн бұрын
People think this is a basketball debate. This is an economics debate. Nobody was watching your “elite” WNBA athletes winning their championships before Caitlin came along. You’re welcome for the chartered flights and sold out arenas btw. And her own teammates thank her by not passing the ball to her (Erica wheeler) shooting their ugly shot or pass to struggling bigs. What was Indiana without her? A loser. So stop trying to get off for yourself,wheeler. We know how that story goes. Losing. Scrap the BS. Pass in and out of traps and set good screens to get CC free to get off. Get rebounds: run and play defense. When her shot falls, you all will begin to eat and play your game. She doesn’t need to adjust to you, you should all be adjusting to her. And the other teams. You shutting her down, you think that people care that you did? You aren’t shining yourself like you think. You are NOT the movement. If you’re smart, you let her get off a game or two and the crowds stay and grow. Damn this is so clear what the path to league prosperity is, yet people are so insecure so selfish and jealous. thank her later when your 100k avg salary becomes 500k or more. Thank yourself for ruining that by trying to show out for yourself and shut her down. Hahaha

I wish CC the best of luck, but I will not attend nor watch a game in the WNBA. The level of pettiness, and just out right jealousy of the other athletes goes against everything I have been raised by. I hope the league falls flat on its face due to the ego's and racist attitudes of the players. They have a great opportunity, but it will not sustain this disaster they call the WNBA, and they have only themselves to blame. If I was the NBA, I would tell them if they don't make this gift they have been giving work, we will pull our funding...
