SAS had an opportunity to respond to Molly, but he took the high road to avoid a fight. I think that was a mistake. The hip check by Chennedy did not happen in a vacuum. It was the last straw. Look at all three women's faces. They were not happy about what SAS was saying... they were squirming. McNutt kept taking sips from her coffee cup. It was awkward. The reason this has become such a huge story that won't go away has little to do with Caitlin Clark, and everything to do with female psychology as a whole. Just look at the three women's faces. They say it all...

I don't get how some women feel like they have to educate men on how to appreiciate the WNBA. Even if it is women's basketball, it's still basketball! As a basketball fan, I can watch anyone play the game. I can watch kids play the game and appreciate what they can do! I can watch women play the game and appreciate what they can do! And I can watch men play the game and appreciate what they can do! To act like there isn't hate toward Caitlin Clack is dishonnest. As dirty as Chennedy Carter's play was, I don't get it how Aliyah Boston or any other player on the fever roster who was on the court doesn't run to Chennedy Carter to check her!!!??!! It’s because y’all are being super weird about it… The fans immediately turned it into a soap opera and decided that the other players are “jealous”. Very normal things such as rookie hazing that happen in pretty much every sport are being looked at like some kinda league wide bountygate.. Not saying your doing this but I feel like the majority of men aren’t watching the WNBA with the same mindset they watch the NBA.. for some reason seeing women compete and be physical (sometimes outside the rules) isn’t landing the same as it does when men do it.. smh the fans are making it wayy more than it is.

@@mrv1bez113 that’s the bigger picture the FUTURE. You just said it yourself and also two different situations when angel got that hard foul you’re speaking of. The player accidentally went under her because they were fighting for a rebound. That made Angel almost have a serious nasty fall. End of story because that is just basketball. The foul on Clark was pure hate and had nothing to do with basketball. So I have no idea where you’re going with that. Anyone that has eyes and watches basketball realizes Clark had her back turned on an inbound and that’s extremely different than getting tangled up in a rebound. There are two important issues that need more attention in discussions about recent events. Firstly, Angel Reese's actions on the court, particularly her celebration of the hip check, are deplorable and set a negative example for sportsmanship. Secondly, the WNBA is failing in its responsibility to police the court effectively, especially regarding non-basketball plays. These areas require urgent attention to maintain the integrity and respect of the game.
