Commentator; “You can say the same thing about Angel Reese and the records she’s broken.” Me; “Excuse me?”Has Reese broken over 60 records in her Rookie season? How about 30? or 20?… 10? Can anyone tell us please if Angel Reese has broken more than 10 records? Reese has broken records getting REBOUNDS. I don’t know of any others. Here’s the thing; Unless getting a rebound ends with you getting a basket, a rebound record is NOT as valuable as a scoring shot or an assist. I KNOW Angel Reese doesn’t have a record in either of those! Oh I know Angel Reese has a strung together a few games with double-doubles, but CC has TWO TRIPLE-doubles, to go with her own double-doubles, plus over 100 3 pointers, the record number of assists in a game, the record number of assists in a season, the fastest player to reach 500 points in a season, etc, etc, etc! I have nothing in particular against Angel Reese, but even I know that mentioning her ‘records’ in some kind of comparison with Clark’s exploits is as silly as believing that Megan Rapinho is the equal of Lionel Messi. On ever time they needed it & the other team was being clobbered..you can she the coach say "what the hell is going on"....thats the clark effect...refs privilege when things get tough...not all gms they are good & boston & Mitchell deserves equal acclaim...bottomline Clark is lucky to hv landed in Indy..great coach & two stars & husling bench.
