Originally Indiana Jones was called Indiana Smith. Indiana is the name of George Lucas pet dog. Spielberg said that Smith didn't sound right so the guys agreed to name the hero Jones which works better.

I preordered this along with some Wave 2 figures from Kapow Toys. I saw other people were getting their figures and they had become available regularly on their store. I asked them about it and they said the others had been available for a while but the twin pack never left the preorder stage for my order. They apologised for the delay and refunded 10% of my order which was appreciated. I don't know if I'll be buying more figures because Indy was the only line I'm really interested in but if I do, I'll definitely be using them again

Will you be picking up the SH Figuarts Indy? I preordered it as soon as it released and is set to ship out in the next few weeks. Can't wait to get mine since I've always wanted a great 6" Indy figure and Hasbro's versions have been lacking, mainly in the face and belt functions

I haven’t ordered it yet, holding out to see reviews of it in hand before making a decision. However, if they do a KOTCS version, I’d pre-order that in a heartbeat seeing as it’s unlikely Hasbro will do one.

I put the apple in his trigger hand and the book was supported with his open hand. Makes the trigger hand look less like one, and the open hands fingers can hold the book better.

I hate that they kept reusing the trigger hand for different figures. I've picked up a few Raiders figures and Cairo figures because I want to pose them in different scenes. I'll probably be using the spare hands for some other characters

The gun is an MP.40 9mm SMG. One might wonder how a gun first made in 1940 could be in 1936? but hey, it was the prop used in Raiders, so the toy is correct; film? not so much. Its all in good fun though. Kazim comes with a more appropriate SMG, the MP.28/II Bergman.
