"Indiana Jones and the Oddly Familiar Gameplay" Seriously though, Tomb Raider gameplay is a good fit for an Indy adventure. I'm pretty sure Tomb Raider was inspired by the Indiana Jones films anyway.

Yes it was. But in video game space Lara is the king (or queen) of tombs, because it's only after Tomb Raider was released that Indie games started to look like it, before they were a graphic adventures (and they were good, Lucasarts made good ones). One of the points of Tomb Raider was to transfer the Indiana Jones movies experience into video game, it succeeded and after that Tomb Raider became it's own thing and Lara basically became as popular as Indie (or even more *wink-wink*)

Just by using the chalk item. Doesn't have any functional purpose but I suppose you can mark areas you've already visited if you feel like you're getting lost.

I have a couple questions, is this a 100% series? It's ridiculously difficult to find a playthrough of this game that actually finds all the treasures in each level. Secondly, regarding your difficulty getting this game to run, are you using the CD or the recently-ish released GoG version? The CD version gave all sort of trouble, but I haven't had to do any trickery to get this game running with GoG; just install and play. The only bug I run into is one where frequent use of the machine gun makes the game crash, but apparently that's always been an issue.

The earlier episodes (this one included) have 100% treasures. On later levels I missed a few (I was playing from memory rather than using a walkthrough). If you're interested in 100% completion (while playing yourself), check out Sinjin's Infernal Machine Walkthrough - he covers everything. I did find find an Easter Egg in level 6 that I've never seen documented online anywhere (around 25:42 on the Palawan Volcano video). As for the version, it's an original CD version with various workarounds. I recorded this footage before the game was released on GOG.
