Indiana Jones collection! Sideshow Temple Of Doom figure! Hot Toys DX05 Raiders! Books! Statues!

Lots of things going on in this video. I decided to show you some of my Indiana Jones related books, among other collectibles. And then compare the recent Temple Of Doom Indy figure to the Hot Toys DX05 from Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

4-5-18 I bought the Raiders Indy when it was first released, and to this day its one of my favorite Hot Toys figures. People have bashed the likeness (the worst offenders being the schoolgirls, on the sideshow freaks forum), but I dont understand the hate that this figure gets or how they dont see Ford in the head-sculpt-- the Hot Toys Han Solo has the same face as the Raiders figure. The Sideshow face is great too, but the face looks like a toy of Ford-- where the Hot Toys face looks like a real person. Good to see other people that appreciate the Raiders one.

Temple of Doom is my favorite as well. Loved it as a kid and as a grown ass man.

This TOD figure is the BEST HARRISON FORD INDIANA JONES FIGURE. HANDS DOWN. I dont care what anyone says. I put the DX05 on mine too. Lol. :0)

I actually owned this figure, then sold it. I do have the Hot Toys Indy, and ultimately couldn't justify having two Dr. Jones' lol. I actually like the Hot Toys head a bit more. I suppose it has a lot to do with the Sideshow one looking small..like the face area is small. It's hard to explain. I do think it's super freakin impressive for Sideshow. I wish a company like Eleven would make some Ford sculpts. Their Hugh Jackman headsculpts are astonishing. People eat up 'custom' Han, Indy & Deckard heads. Makes me wonder if someone will EVER make a perfect young Harrison Ford sculpt. If only someone could go back in time and digitally scan his head.

I'm not sure if you've ever seen them, but the Funko Pops of Wolverine and Indiana Jones have the best head sculpts I've ever seen. The Indy pop is a little steep in price so I'm not sure if you would ever get the chance to see it. I hope you get the chance one day, though

I always wondered with the phobia that Indiana Jones has with snakes why he didn’t freak out when the snakes surprise scene occurred in temple of doom.

That’s a very good observation. There could be several explanations. Maybe he was having dinner with very important people, so he had to try his best and control himself. Maybe he wasn’t afraid because after all, it was a dish and the snake was dead. Maybe it’s because that table was very long and there were tons of guests, so he didn’t even notice it because he was focused on his conversation.

I have this figure and it is very good but could of been much better but still I am glad that Sideshow are making these cult classic characters as these are the characters that I watched when growing up those awesome good old days!😃

I'm a Indy fan as well, I also own the Hot Toys DX 05 but it only comes with one hat. How did you get two hats? I might heat the hat up and try to reshape it. By the way I enjoyed your video. 😉👍

Indeed, it didn't. I bought a separate DX05 head and body to display it with the city of Tanis diorama and that came with a hat that's why I have two. Man I know how much you love Indy and it makes me sad you're missing out on this. It's fabulous.

I hope you don't mean the premium statue. Yea I called them and said they should have parts on hang for future replacements. I have that Nathan drake and it suffers from weak magnets for arm

Hot toys because it's better detailed but it'll cost a lot more, sideshow doesn't come with that much stuff

hey man first off thanks for watching! I honestly can't reply to your question. For me both are exceptional pieces but I love the Temple Indy more because Temple is my favorite in the series. But the Hot Toys is more complete as it comes with an amazing diorama and with two sets of clothes. However the DX05 must go for crazy money these days I guess. I just love both and I'm very happy to own them both!

Hey man. That jacket is a real leather 1/6 jacket made by a 1/6 tailor / artist called Kato. It’s very expensive and I’m not sure he still makes them now. You can find him on Facebook, his name is Katoki Ellis on there.
