Thanks Brother! Yeah, there's a ton of people I'd hate to leave here in California, but all the trains out there, the low cost of living, and great climaye makes it way more attractive than SoCal. Hope you get to check it out one day.

Whilst Chesterton is a great hotspot, the fact that the junction at Porter where the Amtrak Michigan trains come out is not actually at Riley's Railhouse is one of the things I do not like about railfanning over there. Chesterton is a fantastic place but it's a shame we would have to go a bit further down to Porter for those services a short distance away.

If you are referring to the regional trains, it's because they have to navigate the switches at Porter Junction.
