"We are looking for people aggressively driving around semi's" Literally tickets and ruins a truck drivers career specifically because he was eating, while he drives, which is his job. You think that cop doesnt eat and drive? Looks like he does to me

There's not a problem with eating and driving but if you can't keep it in your own lane apparently you can't do them two things at once so don't do it because he couldn't do it which is why he got pulled over not because he was eating

They need a set up for these new truckers as well. Back many years ago I only noticed professional truckers, nowadays you see truckers in the left lane in 65mph zone going 60mph blocking traffic for several miles, truckers using no signals, one time I even had to flash my high beams at the car in front of me in the left lane to try and speed up to move over and we were already 15 miles over the speed limit. The tractor trailer had to have came up behind us going close to 100mph or more and he tailed me at less than a car lengths distance for a while until the car in front of me finally speed up and got over. I couldn't move because it was another tractor trailer right next to me and I sure enough wasn't gonna slow down even a little to try and get over with him flying up like that. Smdh. Not sure where this breed of truckers got their training.

I am wondering if a good lawyer could argue that the trucking company the troopers ride with have a financial interest in letting troopers ride? Also where are the troopers when drivers are impeding traffic flow....Ie, at below or sometimes well below posted speed limit on Interstate, sometimes even blocking passing lane? If you can’t maintain the posted speed limit adjusted for weather, traffic flow and volume you should not be driving on the interstate. I agree even in metropolitan areas you can get run over doing what the posted limit is. They don’t seem to hassle the idiots who block passing lanes but .try to pass them on the right even if traffic flow is open then you get stopped and possibly cited. Yes I am referring to truckers too. Truckers performing rolling road blocks just as dangerous and illegal. One thing when police use it in a marked police vehicle but too many truckers try to get abreast of each other impending traffic flow behind them and usually fairly significantly. Where are troopers then?

This causes accidents, but the trucks keep going, having hit nothing. If slower traffic (trucks) would stay in the travel lane and not the passing lane this wouldn’t happen. Truck are a menace! They issued over 180 citations in that time (none to trucks), and could have issued 5 times that if they had enough chase vehicles. It was an eye opener to the trooper. @@northseabrent Dude, cops are significantly less complicated and clever than they make themselves out to be. They really shouldn't be doing stupid shit like this unless they had the intelligence to do so. Save this shit for special divisions, aka officers who have the mind to actually make this stuff effective. Police officers can barely drive let alone form complicated plans to stop aggressive driving. It's a joke how useless they truly are. Maybe they should prioritize routine surveillance and routine patrols instead of sitting in a ghost car randomly in the middle of the street and still not pull over anyone going over 60. I was arrested by a state trooper, we had a nice conversation when he put me in the front of his car in the passanger's seat about how most officers don't have the capacity or skill to operate at certain levels, especially on the streets. What was I arrested for? Outrunning a state trooper. You know what would've prevented me from running? Proper surveillance and officers set up frequently in the right places to prevent people from getting angsty.
