I've been watching the Indy skyline since I was a kid. I'm from Muncie Indiana. Forty five min from Indy. I was always excited as a kid coming to Indy just to see that very first skyscraper that was built here. Those classic blue lines that used to illuminate it fascinated me as a kid. Fast forward 50 years and its better but could be better. We just need at least 6-8 more skyscrapers to throw into the current skyline. Hopefully we can get that Signa Hotel up and going soon. The skyline needs a serious makeover.

The Hilton Sigma is being built. Breaking ground next year 40 stories There’s a 23 story planned luxury apartments to break ground the end of this year 2021 Then a second hotel by pan am plaza suppose to be built in 2025 and it’s suppose to be 25 stories. Great point you made and I think you’ll see at least 4 by 2026 from what I’m hearing. Following a newspaper called the IBJ on developments

@@BigWood0397 Those 30 story and under towers barely put a dent in the skyline. Hence the high rise that went up where MSA used to stand. I would love to see a 55+ tower go up. We've had our chances to build higher but it seems they always get scrapped. C'mon indy let's rise up!
@BigWood03973 жыл бұрын
@@tonylamontbillings6607 I feel you but a lot of those 20-40 story buildings give you density and makes your city looks full and not patches of development here and there. But there has to also be a need for high rises. More people need to move to Indy and downtown particularly. Mass Ave and fountain sq have definitely picked up it’s vibrancy but the core of downtown does need more work. I’m not sure how Nashville has surpassed Indys downtown but go checkout their skyline and skyscraper ally they call it, or it might be lane I think but they’re doing exactly what Indy should be doing and Indys population is much bigger even our metro area. So I don’t know how they’re supporting this growth unless they’re giving HUGE tax breaks for development

@@tonylamontbillings6607 they really are but I know people that live there and said they hate it because the cost of living has sky rocketed out of control They told me to enjoy Indy as it is or be careful what you ask for cause major development comes at a cost and it’s usually raising taxes to live in a particular city

It would be great if you could film Indianapolis in the different seasons and then combine that with some of the footage from your first video of the city that you uploaded in June of last year. It would also be great if you could use the same music in that video as the music is much better than in this one. I think that a video that would combine day and night shots along with the different seasons with flowers in Spring and Christmas lights on Monument Circle in December would be one heck of a video.

Why don’t they light the white part of Salesforce Tower anymore? Anyone else remember it used to be bright until the mid 00s? It probably got really expensive to keep on.

Buildings that tall do flex quite a bit, they're designed to give instead of staying rigid and busting. Although, I think there's so weirdness with the footage heh.
