At the beginning of last season, Chloe was confused about Lucifer for discovering that he is the devil, and now she says with conviction that she will never lose faith in their relationship, this is one of my favorite Deckerstar moments. I screamed with joy when she shot Michael lol, Chloe would never be fooled by a fake Lucifer. Tom Ellis delivers a great performance this season with two characters. For me, when Michael imitates Lucifer's British accent (which is Tom's natural accent), it sounds fake and exaggerated, I think that's really cool.

Chloe claimed that she knew he isn't Lucifer when she saw Michael with Maze, but she was still doubting, so she tested him with the necklace Lucifer gave her for her birthday, when it was obvious he didn't recognize the bullet, that's the moment she got confirmation.

She tested him plenty of times, the fact that his mojo is different, when she flirted with him over coffee Lucifer is the ultimate playboy he would never be that squimish. And then when he said he loves her she knew it was never him because Lucifer never actually said it.

Linda has stated several times she thinks she’ll end up in hell and it’s always been portrayed as a joke. But now we find out what the reason for her guilt is. She’s been helping everyone battle their issues over four seasons, it’s great that this time her own trauma plays into the story. I love that Chloe is no damsel in distress who needs to be rescued by Lucifer. She figured it out on her own. Episode two is one of my favorites this season so far. Next one is hilarious as well. Something else I love is that the show deals with Chloe’s miracle reveal like almost three seasons after it happened. Lucifer learned about it in season two. But it’s not pushed to the side, now it’s Chloe’s turn to deal with the truth. It’s a major revelation that still has repercussions in season five, which was originally supposed to be the final season.

Tom Ellis wanted to give Michael a completely different posture from Lucifer. Lucifer is open which is why his gestures are always open and Michael's appear closed. I think the shoulder thing is just to give Michael a very noticeable and distinctive posture. I don't know if they will specifically address any reason for it or if it's just a thing that is.

The show is based on a comic, in the comic Michael was injured during the rebellion. I don´t know if this will be also the explanation in this show or if we get an explanation.

I knew you were going to LOVE Chloe figuring out Michael wasn't Lucifer. As far as Michael's plans go you'll have to wait & see but the hashtag #MichaelIsADick exists for a reason. There are a few other things in the trailer that are kinda spoilery but you've definitely got past the major one now. I suspect the Michael spoiler was in the trailer because me too is rightfully gaining the attention it has always deserved & the show runners didn't want us to think Michael/Chloe were going to be intimate then Chloe feeling like she was used or worse. Just my opinion but that's why some voted for you to watch the trailer for that warning I think. I didn't think you needed that because based on your previous reaction I thought you might figure out Chloe wasn't falling for Mochael's weak imitation & looks like I was right about that. Another great reaction & the next episode is going to be so good.

The way Tom makes these two characters feel so two worlds apart that they're literally physically different, is just pure brilliance. The way Michael carries himself, the posture, the facial expressions, the eyes, the voice and accent. Just wow. Even when Tom is playing Michael playing Lucifer you feel the difference, not the same accent as Lucifer, more exaggerated, lacks the warmth, essence and humor of Lucifer.

So the trailer told us that this was Michael, so that wasn't a big reveal to those who watched it, BUT I don't regret seeing it a month before the premiere cause we kept thinking if in the others scenes of the trailer it was Lucifer or Michael, and every new photo that came out we kept guessing who was it, So I didn't consider it a big spoiler cause we already got the answer on the second episode, but now that the season is out is better to avoid the trailer and be shocked like you was.

Lucifer actually have intervieuw explaining michael. In season 1 lucofer was never mebt to have brittisch accent, tom Ellis just not could speak american, so now he learned and he decide to use it for michael to make difference kinda clear, he also said ge gave michael dumb shoes on purpose

while its pretty good i think the american acent on micheal is kind of stereotypical sounding but also it kind of made sense that the debil would have a accent from europe as europe and asia are where most biblical events happened and where most of god and angels focus was i dont think a angel like micheal would magicly pick up a american accent

Personally I'm glad he's here to disrupt their relationship. Almost every show ever was ruined as soon as the 2 main characters got together. The 'will they won't they' aspect is 80% of these show's appeal at least in my opinion.

In season 4 i hated Cloe (and favored eve) but season 5 Cloe is way different in a good way
