The main reason is Tejas mk2 and Grippen made the mistake of selling ground based RADARS to Pakistan..

Gripen Manufacturing company SAAB is main supplier to Pakistan for its radar and aew and more systems plus it has ge404 engine . This is the main reason for not winning the tender. I personally don't think anything is going on for Tejas mk2 on ground level except on papers and in social media 😢.

You can push a missile to 3000 km with Mach 8 is one thing, to accurately hit the target is another totally different thing, China has whole system support for this, with hundreds of satellites and high altitude long duration, stealthy surveillance drones, the ability India does not have, .............
