Why are these national news channels not reporting the casualties on the side of the meities? The casualties are almost the same but this reporting looks very indicative of some biased sentiments. Everything was going fine, there was no firing for the last 20 days in manipur. Until the maiden attacked on the meitei farmer who was there in his field spraying pesticides. Somehow, kuki militant slipped into the buffer zone and shot the farmer. Fortunately he is alive even though he got shot at the left side of the chest. That’s where the firing took placed again after 20 days. Perhaps KUKI MLAs have been making excused on the present law n order conditions and not attend the manipur assembly. The farmer who got shot was at Naranseina in Bishnupur district. Clearly meitei dominated areas and who says farming was not done in periphery areas. State force and central force was deployed so that farming can be done in both hills and valley. As for the Naranseina thamnapokpi any sorts of firing or violence did not happen so far. Due to the agreement between the hill sides and valley sides. Just for ur knowledge the nearby hill villages does not belong to kuki community. Rather it belongs to KOM tribe which was the birthplace of Mary Kom. So, there has been suspicious towards KOM due to the recent attacked.
