They could easily migrate abroad and live cushy jobs in international companies earning 20 times as much, yet they chose to serve the country at 1100 USD a month in salary. This is the most astonishing fact for ISRO and for India. A country that just got its cities fully electrified 3 decades ago, is now on the moon with scientists being paid 20-25 times lesser than NASA, with talent equal if not better than that of those in Houston.
