Awesome. Some of the best marching I have seen ever. Often ones sees a hand lower or higher than a neighbor. Not here. Makes India proud. Makes me proud to be an Indian. That said additionally some of the contingent are so beautiful. They could challenge Miss World's beauty or other super models. An advantage on the battlefield. An enemy soldier faced with such beauty would freeze in awe and go weak at the knees in bewilderment. Giving our beauty the instant to react first off the mark. Poor soldier didn't know what hit him. Full praise for our women soldiers. Respect and Salute to them all. Well deserved.

It would have been much better if we could have seen a collaboration between our women and men counterparts. That would have been true equality. It felt as if it was a Women’s Day. If we truly want to achieve equality we should stop calling it with any extra adjectives. Let it be general. You’re making it special and then talking about equality doesn’t make any sense.

The era of fighting war by muscle power is long gone. The war is faught by technology. It is not question of cutting head of enemy by one stroke of sword, but to feather touch a button to activate a missile. Hence, all countries are in process of reducing number of personnel in defence forces. But, here, in lieu of reducing strength people in roll, number of females are being increased. Besides, this is also reducing employment prospects of males in a highly populous country like India.
