Wow, that is extraordinary talent. One needs strong arms to fry cook that amount of rice. The sights and sounds in the street food videos are intriguing and I think that's why foreigners are drawn to these videos. One must accept their criticisms with a grain of salt. As for me, I would love to taste the delicious chicken fried rice. Excellent video with ingredient descriptions and price per plate. Wonder how much the same plate of fried rice cost in August 2016? Bon appetit, enjoy the meal.

***** That is the truth! People seem to think that "Western" food prep and restaurants are so much more hygienic. While we have health codes, trust me many go un-noticed in busy kitchens. I've quit woorking in restaurants in NYC and Boston that were filthy and had lax hygienic methods. And they were gourmet "reputable" places. Can you be sure that the guy at Mc Donalds didnt use the toilet and not wash his hands? Or that the guy with the glove didn't pick his nose or scratch his butt crack with the glove on and then make your salad? Or that the food was kept at temperature, or that there was not cross contamination?..and so on. I have traveled the world and eaten street food. I have had food poisoning a few times. Once from a family picnic as a kid (back then warm potato salad was a given), the other two times in "fancy" restaurants in Montreal and NYC that cost hundreds of dollars to eat there. There are dangers everyplace, but like you said you can see what is going on and what is being cooked. If it doesn't look right, simply don't eat it. Peace.

the mansion of dumko Right that makes sense. Why stop there? Let's compare a normally functioning human to you who is trolling for attention. When you have something intelligent to say we will be waiting. Meanwhile go eat some Taco Bell, I hear they are putting real meat in it now, or perhaps McDonald's you can have the finest artificial flavors that they have to offer with a side of snot and butt crack juice from the guy who scratched his ass and made your Big Mac. Or maybe you only like the taste of American ass? I am an American of European descent by the way, so I really don't know where you are going with this. But if making fun of Rupees is what gets you off, I'm sure everyone on here could care. Trolls like you are not unique, you just think you are, which makes you so sad and laughable. Learn to spell. Namaste. Salaam.

I see people are having real arguments over hygiene. I bet you are all adults, you know whats right and wrong. All you have to do is not eat food made in such place. In my mind I view it as an educational video for those who want to learn how to make fried rice the easy way. Learn the process and then cook it yourself at home.

Bharath Kumar people with such arguments are pretty stupid mate, they complain over hygiene and other stuff just because they see how the food is prepared and they imagine all the terrible stuff that might happen to one who eats that food, however if they were only served without seeing how it is cooked I'm pretty sure the comments related to hygiene would be zero, besides what is the chances of this guy make his living if they get his customers sick every time, people don't get that. in addition to all puritans, keep in mind that very nasty stuff happens inside a restaurant kitchen that the customer are unaware about, just because they can't see.

@UltramanMebius2006
@UltramanMebius2006 9 жыл бұрын
+MsBrianabutler I'm sure you have to be rich from Taiwan in order to be able to come here. My family was rich in Thailand but my parent (mainly my dad) gave up all the good life just so we can live in America and we became slaves to their stupid system. The money is good but hey home is home and there is no place like home. I'm from Los Angeles been living here since 1997. I just turned 29 and I can't way to retire and move back to Thailand.
@MsBrianabutler
@MsBrianabutler 9 жыл бұрын
+Wanlop Anongchanya I'm actually American, but I traveled to Taiwan because I want to learn about other cultures. That's how I learned about Asian street food, which is amazing! You're right though, when I was in Taiwan, I had a lot of money because most things are inexpensive there. When I came back, I had a reverse culture shock. America isn't convenient like other countries. We can learn a lot from others, but we're stubborn. I'm 23, by the way.
@CherryPauper
@CherryPauper 9 жыл бұрын
+Wanlop Anongchanya Yeah, but street vendors aren't regulated for safety measures as the restaurants are in the U.S. You'd be surprised how many times the street vendors take money and rarely ever wash their hands.
@UltramanMebius2006
@UltramanMebius2006 9 жыл бұрын
+Cherry Pauper respect your opinion but at the same time how can you be so sure that restaurant is cleaner? When anything can happen in the kitchen and you can't see it? I grew up in Thailand and ate street vendors for 9 years and I'm still fine. Sure there are going to be germs here and there but our bodies has immune system and can fight it. Plus while foods are being cooked, the heat will kill the germs as well. I feel like American are sometime can be delicate. I think that they won't allow it probably because they want to street to be clean and prevent robbery and since I live in L.A all the Mexican will start selling their shits until other races can't sell their stuffs at all. I don't have anything against Mexican and its foods but I can't consume same shits all the time. I'm Thai and I hate Thai foods lol I don't have pride in my culture foods at all cause all foods are great.

Lovely. I wonder how many diarrhoeic discharges he's cleaned up today before diving straight into cookery without washing his hands. Maybe the main ingredient in the chicken marinade is fecal coliform.

This reminds me of back home cooking when there's a religious function or wedding!! unfortunately, we do not cook like that on the main road/street. Street snacks are usually prepared at home first and for meals we just go to restaurants. Anyway that's what I remember when I was living in Guyana ☺ and that was over 20 years ago! ❤

street food is not meant for the weak hearted, more over this is india where in you will come across a wide range of characters ranging from poor to rich, clean to unclean, good to bad etc....idiots assuming the whole country is like this purely based on a video needs a proper brain scan lol

You never been in a 4 star hotel, how can you comment about 5 star? I lived in the Oberoy hotel in india. They are cleaner than the park hotel. Face it, it's filthy over there. You are filthy people, unless you are upper class.

You most likely never travel to the west. We have inspectors that shut down places with any trace of bacteria. Gloves are worn by all food handlers. You have no idea how strict restaurants are in the west. Even your water is unsafe to drink and bathe...

I'm not an Indian but that's not really the case dude. Street food is actually one of the best foods you'll ever eat. Might not be as healthy as home made food but still healthier than many restaurants you think are clean. At least you are seeing what they actually use to make the food. God knows what shit plastic stuff they use in fast food chains lmao
