The curry is prepared with chickpea and potatoes mixed with indian spices, coriander, roasted dry spices, tamarind syrup and a snack called bhujiya. Bhujiya is a famous snack in india prepared with mashed potatoes, chickpea flour and indian spices. It may look nasty to outside viewers but actually it is a very tasty and healty daily food in india. The accompanying item is just a deep fried bread made out of flour, a special spice called hing and few other roasted dry spices. This combo as a whole is very famous all over India as it's cheap yet healthy but preparation may differ depending on the region.
