I am from Ara and I live in Delhi until recently Poorva Express used be my most preferable train to travel from Ara to Delhi or vice versa. But now Sampoorna Kranti Express has started stoping at Ara so I prefer Aam Janta ki Rajdhani instead of Deluxe Express But still I've soo many memories with this train ❤❤

Chittaranjan is in West Bengal but the Chittaranjan railway station formally known Mihijam Railway station is in the town of Mihijam in Jharkhand... Both the town share a common urban area with the portion of urban area which is in West Bengal is Chittaranjan and the portion of urban area in Jharkhand is Mihijam with the railway station within Jharkhand...

Poorva express via gaya is much better n punctual as compared to via patna. On patna route this train becomes a local train for everyone

Because there is more traffic in patna and luxury trains also start from patna route not from gaya route because patna route has most priority in bihar😎😎

Delhi bound train most of it was running via dhanbad but due to patronage issue most of them were rerouted to via Patna to increase patronage

Ek Zamana thaa this train was really Deluxe ...when I travelled in 1993....it had orange yellow livery same as Rajdhani ...(no other train had it then) .. and had top notch priority .....now it's 'Poor'va 😂

Thanks Satyabhai for this episode. I have travelled many times in Poorva Express from Howrah to Durgapur and HWH to Patna. Unreserved and ticket less crowd is a big problem on this route and it is very dangerous to object to such violations. Railway Police and TTs do nothing to control this.

Chittaranjan is in WB. It's right at the edge. In 2 to 3 mins you cross into Jharkhand

Absolutely, it's one of the best trains yet extremely underrated. Imagine getting from Mumbai to Delhi in just 3 halts with practically the same time duration as rajdhani. As railfans, it ours collective failure that Maharashtra Sampark Kranti goes under the radar

Highly underrated train hain yaar, sach mein. Average speed, Up and down, donho directions mein 82 km/h hain uska aur mps 130 km/h ka hain. For context, Mumbai Rajdhani ka average speed hain 89 km/h aur August Kranti Rajdhani ka 83 km/h. Mujhe hairaani hain ki aaj tak, inn bade vloggers ne usey cover kyon nahi kiya hain? MHSK is a unique train which deserves more attention.

Thank you for the journey I was able to have with you virtually. I must say I like Indian Railways. I wish you all the best. The problem is however that many people walk on tracks (14:40, 15:12) which is dangerous for them and for passengers too. It should be absolutely prohibited and fined. I've noticed that there was a drought at the time and two rivers were with no water. Hope that the rain which occurred was sufficient and the drought was soon over. Greetings from Poland!

1956 mey Is train ko "Deluxe" ya "vestibule" train bola jata tha. Full A/c ka sawal hi nahi tha, steam se chalti thi ye train. Hna, aage se pichhe tak connected tha, to niche utarna nai paRta tha. Bachpan ki yaad hai ye train, shayad 10 ya 12 kamre ka.

I was informed this train is the successor of a train called Airconditioned Express and its compliment was Howrah Rajdhani. The train called watanakoolit Exp had AC chaircars and a 1st AC with a dining car. That was then. Thank you for sharing.
