The one where the horses bowed was shown only once. They knelt paying respect to where the twin towers where in NY.

They showed it again on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It is the most expensive commercial to ever be shown twice on television. But the point was not to sell beer but to honor and remember. (I know you knew that put for those who don't)

There was a 10th anniversary one with the One World tower partly built and then a 20th anniversary one with the complete One World Trade Center and two beams of light representing the original towers.

I was born & raised in St. Louis, MO which is where the first Anheuser Busch beer was created, including Budweiser. The Clydesdales have been part of the Busch family from the very beginning. You could drive past their farm and see the horses in the fields. They are in every parade, at ballgames, etc. Those horses are huge! And yes, their commercials are very creative. The Clydesdales are alive and well in our world. ;)

Born & raised in STL as well. As kids my parents would take us to Grants Farm to see the Clydesdales. As a little kid looking up at one these horses would blow us away. Gigantic. Then there's the opener for the baseball St. Louis Cardinals at Bush Stadium with the Clydesdales circling the field. No one else in MLB has this. As good as a flyover. ;o) Budweiser Clydesdales make their way around Busch Stadium for 2019 home opener kzbin.info/www/bejne/n33Ekq2DpNl8pqs

Three things I miss after leaving St. Louis, fried ravioli, Cards games with the Clydesdales, and the forth under the Arch.

In New York, if someone says how you are doing it's more like just saying hi they don't expect a long-winded answer, unlike in Texas where they will give you one so that was the funny part of the commercial, it was a guy from Texas in New York

The Budweiser Clydesdale hitch is truly Iconic in the US - virtually everyone recognizes it. They have multiple teams, and they perform all over the country - especially at equine oriented events, rodeos, fairs, parades, and horse shows. There ad people have been great for years. If you like horses, there are a large number of videos available that show the horses performing... as well as videos of the hitches in Televison ads.

The home brewery for Budweiser is in St. Louis, Missouri. If you are ever fortunate enough to attend the first home game of the season (The Home Opener) you would get to see the famous Budweiser Clydesdale Horses (seated Dalmatian included) pull the beer wagon around the inside perimeter of Busch Staduim. Side note: A old acquaintance of mine's family owned a Clydesdale Horse breeding farm similar to what was depicted in the lost puppy commercial. I was fortunate enough to be allowed to drive a wagon being pulled by just two of these magnificent horses. The amount of shear power you are controlling with just two thin straps of leather is indescribable.

They were draught horses and were built for pulling heavy loads so the absolute perfect selection for pulling a beer wagon loaded with kegs of beer. And they are so beautiful.

@Rebecca Strayhorn. My Clydesdale breeder acquaintance was dating a Veterinarian friend of mine which is how I got to know him. She was actually kicked in the tight by one when she was doing an examination. She suffer no permanent damage but her thigh was badly bruised and sore for a few months. It is really amazing to watch the drivers run the full team of horses. They can back up into a loading dock while coming at it from any odd angle...much like semi-truck drivers do

@@MidwesternCornbilly Yes! Marvelously well trained horses, but the talent of the drivers has to be acknowledged. That's a lot of horsepower to control with straps of leather.

The ad with the crabs; did you see that when the sun was setting the outline of the cooler with the two beers sticking up looks like a huge crab? That's why the crabs were so impressed. The "what are you doing guys" ad is saying Budweiser is the beer of "real people" and Heineken is the beer of the yuppies, the ones wearing sweaters tied around their shoulders, speaking proper English, etc.

My father, older brother and I have all worked for Coors beer. It was my first experience with food production. In one job I was inspecting full beer bottles before the labels were glued on by machine. Three bottles passed me each second in front of a backlight, and if one was defective (not very often), I had a hook to ninja pull the bad bottle off the line!

Went to college in Denver. Some of us took the Coors Brewery tour. Later we figured out we could take a "short tour". Straight to the tasting bar. LOL A Coors was on the board of that college. Right before summer break we had campus wide party & they would send box trucks loaded with kegs of Coors with taps sticking out the sides. For like $5 you got a bucket & could fill up anytime. This was late '70s. Probably don't do that anymore...;o)

The budweiser Christmas commercials were always a much anticipated part of American Christmas but sadly they quit making them some years ago. Another tradition gone. 😩

Thumb Up #74! 👍. Thanks for the fun, digital video recording! 🎬🖖✌️🙏🤠😎🤓 Notes: The WTC/9-11 Tribute, always brings tears to my eyes. 😥😢 I'm not a, Drinker! So I prefer the ones with animals, as they are so endearing that I am able to ignore that they are promoting alcoholic beverages. The ones with the people only, were only funny to me, once, then they were very annoying thereafter. I'm glad to be able to mute commercials now, since I can no longer fast forward them. "King of Beers"? Heh. The logo has very nice artistry. But anyway, thanks to my paternal grandfather, the alcoholic, the scent of beer reminds me of his urine! (When working in the yard with our farm and ranch animals, instead of coming inside to urinate, he did so well on the fence poles. His brand of choice was, "Coors Beer", but he wouldn't reject others when offered to him. He could balance the six-packs on the fence posts or rails, no problem.) I knew a guy, Jack Bradley "Brad" Jones, that scoffed at people actually liking the smell and taste of beer! Like, "Norm", in the, "NBC" series, "Cheers". He didn't! But he drank it anyway, because to him it was the cheapest way to get that, "buzz feeling", he sought. He was underage though, so he mostly got it from parties with other minors, that used their parents' supply. I wonder if he is still alive? 🤔
