My understanding of this clip, 1. Since the commercial is by Zain, a Kuwaiti telecom company, it showed the powerless and hapless state of Arab leaders. The boy is seen pleading world leaders but does not go to arab leaders. At the end of the clip, the arab leaders are seen watching the Dome of Rock from a distance. 2. It is unfortunate that the Dome of Rock is shown instead of the Mosque Aqsa. Is it a gaffe or a deliberate attempt with some message attached to it? 3. Trump has been portrayed as an adamant person who has not softened despite the boy's plea. The portrayal reflects his real life actions. 4. Putin does come forward but does not do anything beyond that. Which is what putin has actually done. 5. I am not sure but the suited man who picks up a boy crossing a river, is probably Recep Edrogan. He is also seen smiling at kids. The act is analogous to his real life action, as he has been vocal against Israeli attrocities and probably the only muslim world leader who is standig against attrocities by the US and Israel. His actions against kurds though, is a different matter altogether. 6. Angela Merkel, the german chancellor and Justin Trudeau, can be seen standing on the beach where immigrants are arriving, True to their real life actions, these were the only leaders from the first world who have accpeted refugees. 7. Kim jong Un can be seen with a very sorry and guilty face all the time, reflecting his recent decision to go for nuclear disarmament. Strangely though, the boy visit's every leader's place but Kim is seen coming to the boy's room. Signifying that, the peace treaty was a move by Kim. 8. At the end of the clip, the arab leaders are six in number- the number of GCC nations including Qatar. Which shows Kuwait's aspiration for a united GCC. 9. Does Edrogan's portrayal as a good man in the clip signify Kuwait's leanings towards the Qatari cause? Kuwait is much more interested in solving the gulf dispute while oman is not very actiive. 10. Despite Kuwait's good relations with Iran, the clip misses out on Iran or Iranian leaders. Does this mean the GCC nations do not acknowledge the power and self developed technical prowess of Iran? [EDITED] 11. At the very begining of the clip, the boy walks along a dark and black alley with one door leading to Trump. The alley signifies the dark and shady world inside the White House. On the left side in the alley is a large and empty book shelf, signifying the lack of knowledge and wisdom within the White House, which apparently is the de facto control centre of the world. 12. At the boy's home, the father is a handicapped person who might have suffered this fate in the war between Palestinians and Israel. The mother is seen through the window, going by the words sung during this time, she had ventured outside in search of food. Though the food bowl on the table appears to be empty. 13. The boy drags Vladimir Putin to a view of a mosque and a church, hinting a two state solution. 14. In the last interaction between the boy and Trump, the boy changes his tone from pleas to assertion. He gestures this by keeping his hand on the table and talking with an assertive tone that the "iftar will be in Jurasalem". The boy then frees the girl. This sequence conveys the message that if Freedom is not gained with Pleas and Requests, then people must struggle with contest for their rights. by osama ansari
