I really love this- I've lived in the UAE my whole life, and I still find my mouth watering watching this! However- other than probably Saudi Arabia (who are, btw, making an effort to get there and we can’t disregard that), it's a fact that the Middle East is years ahead in Women's Rights than India is. There's a subtle difference between women's rights and women safety though. I'm sure the women safety is much higher in the gulf than in India. But that doesn't mean women enjoy equal rights as men in those countries. I guess she was referring to the laws framed in the constitution or legislature in some gulf countries where laws tend to be discriminatory of women's rights.

Arjun Diwakar Appreciate your input, Arjun! However, women do actually enjoy the same benefits (lawfully and constitutionally) as men in the Gulf, if not more (dare I say). And on another side of this, I think it’s also important to note how much these younger (compared to India) countries have progressed in this regard compared to a country that has been around for so much longer. I was reading a recent statistic by the UN that put India as one of the worst places for women to live in, and they topped that list over places like Congo and Afghanistan. This is just astounding to me! So I just think we have a loooog way to go before India even stands to be compared.

Living in Kuwait I can say. I tried Indian shawarma and was disgusted by it. Also Shani and rani is my favorite. You should make a part 2 of this. Some of the food/drinks you could try next time : *Vimto (drink) *Pufak/spirals/flips/cocktails (assortment of chips from kitco) *Any product from kdd *The instant noodles found here *KitKat (the ones from the gulf are way better) *Galaxy assortment chocolates *Fruito candy *Cc sticks *Fatayer *Kosheri The snacks over here are much enjoyable than anything else

Uhm. As a Gulf citizen, the Gulf does have women rights. We can walk out on the street without the fear of getting raped. Yes Saudi didn't allow women to drive a car, but look at it progressing now. We have education rights, right to choose, which no offence to anyone isn't so great in India since I do know 3 girls who had to stop schooling and get married at the age of 12 and 15. So, no Sonia, everything is better in the middle east, thank you. Not trying to start a fight just saying it how it is
