Shona ...Neevu's skin condition is similar to hives. In which kids have high fever which does not reduce even on giving medicine. My son has this condition for years. And first time usko hospital mein ICU mein rakha tha just because we didn't know how to handle it. They just give Atarax syrup( its an antihistamine for allergy) and fever ki dawa 3 times a day bus. They keep the child on diper and keep wiping the body with cloth dipped in normal water to reduce the fever. That's the only remedy. Also note once this starts it will spread all across the body and only then reduce. We used to apply aloevera gel (goodvibes brand ka) it would calm the area and relieve of itching and burning sensation. For years he suffered, haan but gods grace kabhi throat mein swelling nahi aya... initial years it would last for 5 days in a week...then 3 days and then to 1 day with growing age. Its due to low immunity.. something to do with bangalore ka environment. And doctors said its an reaction to antibiotics which we used to give him as he had wheezing ( chest congestion). So don't get scared. Neevu will be fine !!

Mere bete ko bhi huva tha jab woh 2 sal ka tha but result yeh aya ki usko cabbage ki allergy nikli and ek medicine di thi i cant give the name here but us se the swelling and all went away.. Check ki usko kisi food ki allergy toh nahi hai na.. We got a lot of test and what not..

One suggestion , sometimes docs convince with your asking to increase paracetamol dosage but before increasing the dosage please do a little research bcoz high dosage is bad for kids kidney and liver and fever is actually a good sign his body immune system is fighting well , as per my knowledge I am also a mother of 4 years old kid sometimes i also panic seeing high fever
